Voervadsbro: Stay with access to Gudenåen / campfire

Find the coziness and tranquility when you stay in this nice, newly renovated home. Good access via road 453/461. Nature is right in the backyard, as the house has land directly to the Gudenåen. For those of you who enjoy fishing, hiking, cycling or rowing in a canoe/kayak but want a real bed and a hot shower after an active day. Sit by the fire and pitch your tent by the river. The apartment is on the 1st floor and was thoughtfully and beautifully renovated in the spring of 2023. Bed linen, towels, dishcloths, etc. are included in the price.

Private sandy beach and sauna

Lovely home (year 2020) in a truly unique location. Located right down to the water with its own sandy beach and where you can swim all year round. The home contains a sauna with a window to the water, from where you can really enjoy the sight of the calm water while completely disconnecting. For the house there are also 3 canoes / kayaks and associated life jackets, so you can enjoy one of Denmark's largest lakes, which are also connected to Gudenåen. You can also fish directly from the house where the lake is rich in fish.

Stay centrally in Skanderborg with a 10-minute walk to the city's many shops and eateries. There is a 5-minute walk to the forest and the lake with a swimming bridge, canoe rental, mountain bike trails and hiking trails, as well as a 12-minute walk to the station with trains to Aarhus (15 minutes) Silkeborg and Copenhagen. It is 3 km to the E45. The apartment has a private entrance and consists of an entrance, living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. The house has a large south-facing terrace and a lovely garden.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. The apartment overlooks Aarhus Ådal and Årslev Engsø. Car is an advantage, but there is a bus to the centre at the door and a nice bike and walking path around the lakes and into the city. There is a carport for the van. Here is peace and quiet!
