Heiða Kristín’s place was perfect. Absolutely spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a 2-night stay. Great view from the bedroom window too. We’ll definitely be back!

A computer glitch deleted our original pre-paid booking at a place which we reserved 5 months prior in Blönduós, and we were scrambling to find lodging. Fortunately, Gunnar was able to accommodate us last-minute at his recently renovated historical home in Sauðárkrókur. The kitchen has modern appliances and the twin mattresses were high quality and comfortable. The house is located walking distance from local restaurants and I enjoyed looking at the fjord from the windows.

We loved our stay in this charming house full of history, the furniture, the decor, even the plates, and all the other details, combining it with the function of a modern working kitchen. It’s an experience like no other. The local bakery is a 3 minute walk and a grocery five mins way. Our family of five was very comfortable in this spacious home located in a quiet neighborhood. We felt very fortunate to stay in such a place.

Appartement conforme au descriptif, propre et bien décoré. Malgré un souci à notre arrivée Thordur a été très réactif et nous a même dédommagé pour la gêne occasionnée, ce qui est extrêmement honnête de sa part. Bref vous pouvez réserver cet appartement sans souci.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Lage ist top – ruhig und erholsam mit schöner Aussicht. Die Unterkunft ist stilvoll gestaltet, die Betten sehr bequem und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der tolle Hot Tub – nach dem Reiten genau das Richtige zur Entspannung. Alles war genauso wie beschrieben. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We had a lovely stay in this cozy place surrounded by peaceful nature. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, just what we needed. Our host was kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Had a great winter retreat at Lea's cabin. It's wonderfully located, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, from BBQ to hot tub. Bonus points for the Northern Lights we got on NYE!

We spent a week in the yellow house, and it was awesome. The house had everything we needed, and as a bonus, we could see whales while having breakfast. In this place, we were able to disconnect and merge with nature.

We adored Herdís’ little home in the heart of Siglufjörður! Photos are a great representation of the space. We were very comfortable there as a family of four for a few days. Everything was beautifully clean, the kitchen was very well equipped, beds were cozy, the grill was perfect for our dinner of lamb kebabs one night, blackout curtains in the bedrooms were excellent (definitely a necessity in June when the sun never sets!). Note that there aren't any blinds or curtains in the main rooms so it's a bit of a fishbowl at night, but no problem. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a wonderful home away from home!

Our group stayed in two cabins at this location and both were great! They were clean and in a beautiful area. I loved all of the windows for viewing the beautiful location and appreciated the blackout curtains when we were ready to sleep. Our group also enjoyed the natural hot springs and the Glaumbauer museum nearby. The robes and clogs (crocs) made getting to the hot springs so much easier, especially since the weather was fluctuating between rain and snow. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

The cabin was well equipped with plenty of seats at the large table for meals. Would have liked enough soft furniture seating for more than 3 people but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the house and it eas wonderful having the hot tub each evening. The Hestasport team was fabulous at answerig questions on the rettir and helping arrange activities. In 4 days we went horseback riding, helped with a aheeo sirting, went whitewater rafting, explored the area, and ate at seceral fantadtic local restaurants. The hotel steos away from our house serves amazing food. Every part of this stay was wonderful. We highly recommend!
