'Smiðjan' the Smithy has been lovingly restored focusing on original aesthetics and comfort. Hofsós is a remote quiet town in northern Iceland with approximately 200 inhabitants surrounded by stunning nature on parts of the Arctic Coast Way. The town has famous beautiful cliffs called Basalt Columns located just by our famous swimming pool only 1 minutes walk from the Cosy house! The swimming pool is a "must" for bathing lovers with it's wonderful view out over the fjord of Skagafjörður. The local shop (KS Hofsós) is open daily but closed on Sundays during winter season.

There is a small patio in the backyard and good space in the front with garden furniture. Space for 5 to 6 people to stay. Dalvík is about 10 min drive from Hauganes and there is a grocery store.
