Holiday rentals with lake access in Skagafjörður

We stayed in this beautiful house for Christmas and it was magical! Kristin is the perfect host. Answering any questions I had quickly and thoughtfully. She decorated the house for Christmas with lights and a tree and even presents for my children. The house is even more lovely than the photos and the views are dreamy. The decor is modern and comfortable. The hot tub is lovely to relax in on a cold day. The house has everything you need and really feels like home from home. I was worried the house would feel cold but it is very cozy. It is about 45 minutes drive from Akureyri which is where the closest airport is. Dalvik is the nearest small town about 15 minute's away. We had the most delicious fish soup in Gisli Eirikur Helgi, a lovely small restaurant in Dalvik that I would recommend visiting! I would absolutely recommend this beautiful house to anyone wanting to visit this area. We did some amazing trips - whale watching, husky sledding, Forest Lagoon, Godafoss waterfalls.

The road to get there was very bumpy but really worth staying there quiet little place. The view is amazing and the people are friendly

Absolutely lovely place to stay - our second time here. Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, lovely to come home to at the end of each day. Great shower! 2 mins walk from a lovely cafe and public swimming baths with hot tubs. Special thanks to Kristjana for buying 2 yoga mats for the house so that we could use them during our stay.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Easy, amazing location and view with almost all the features of home. Remy gave great advice and was very proactive with his communications.
