Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sjödalen

Die Wohnung von Jan liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend und ist gut ausgestattet. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist man in weniger als einer halben Stunde im Zentrum Stockholms, so dass man das Auto getrost stehen lassen kann. Bei einem erneuten Besuch Stockholms würden wir die Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Wir waren zu sechst und hatten wundervolle Tage in dem Schwedenhaus. Alles war sehr großzügig, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. In die Stadt braucht man ca. 50 min mit Bus und Bahn, was absolut ok ist. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen und können das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Es una casa molt maca amb un estil vintage, plena de detalls de coleccionisme (decoració , complements etc) i moltes habitacions, cadascuna amb molta personalitat. L'entorn es molt maco i tranquil, al costat del bosc. Inclús va aparèixer una daina i es va seure al jardí del darrera que es preciós. La seva situació es perfecta si també vols conèixer l'entorn d'Estocolm ja que està a 15 minuts en cotxe o transport públic, que és molt a prp de la cada (metro i tren).

Martin and his family are great host. They always helpful and supportive. We loved their tiny house. It’s clean and peaceful place. This location has Perfect natural environment and amazing views. I think the only problem is not available for public transportation. But it will not be problem for you if had a car. And it is also obvious on their pictures. We could have been 2 days but we wished to had more. We are pretty much happy staying there and we strongly recommend that everyone.

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

Söpö pieni puhdas ja siisti talo. Viihdyimme viikonlopun erinomaisesti, talossa oli kaikki tarvittava. Itsesisäänkirjautuminen oli kätevä ja mahdollisti myöhäisenkin saapumisen. Bussipysäkki oli aivan kulman takana ja helppo päästä Tukholman keskustaan 😊 Kiitos! 🩷

Jag behövde ett snabbt boende när jag passerade sent på kvällen. Jag skrev meddelande och frågade, 30 minuter senare låg jag redan i sängen :) Allt fungerade perfekt 👌

Wir kamen auf Empfehlung unseres Sohnes in diese schöne Unterkunft und haben uns dort gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Check in klappte hervorragend und alles war genau beschrieben und mit Fotos erklärt. Das Häuschen ist perfekt und liebevoll eingerichtet- es fehlt an nichts! Wer nach einem Besuch in der City Ruhe, Erholung und Natur sucht, ist hier bestens untergebracht. Wir waren nur mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs- das war kein Problem Dank einer sehr guten Verkehrsanbindung. Auch im Garten in Wassernähe kann man es sich richtig gemütlich machen und den tollen Blick genießen. Kajsa und Jesper sind sehr sympathische Gastgeber, mit denen wir einen sehr netten Kontakt hatten. Wenn wir wieder einmal in Stockholm sind , kommen wir gerne wieder in dieses tolle Haus zurück!

Ett mycket trivsamt boende med en pålitlig värd! Vi hade en mycket positiv vistelse hos Alexander. Boendet var rent, välordnat och smakfullt inrett, med alla nödvändiga bekvämligheter för en bekväm och avkopplande upplevelse. Området var lugnt och lättillgängligt, vilket bidrog till en behaglig helhetsupplevelse. Värden var professionell, tillmötesgående och snabb i sin kommunikation – något jag uppskattar mycket. Vi rekommenderar detta boende varmt till andra och återkommer gärna vid framtida tillfällen.

Marten is the best host you can find… helpful, friendly, nothing is too much trouble. His apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Public transport was excellent. From Stockholm Central …Commuter Train to Huddinge and two minute walk to bus 714 which takes you to Vistaberg allé. And about two minutes walk to apartment. Our stay was just brilliant. We were three seniors. Marten ordered a taxi for us for our departure. Nothing was too much trouble. If you want the best host and the cleanest apartment come to Mårten and you won’t be disappointed.

Åsa provided great and clear instructions on how to navigate Stockholm. She was very responsive and friendly. The location is very convenient and close to the commuter train station and takes just 15 minutes to Stockholm city. There is a supermarket and eateries right next to the apartment.

Die Wohnung von Adrian in Älvsjö hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie war, obwohl nicht direkt in der City gelegen, sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist modern, neu und sehr sauber sowie mit hochwertigen elektronischen Geräten ausgestattet. Es gab Öl, Salz und Pfeffer sowie Kaffee und Tee. Das Schlafzimmer geht nach hinten raus und es war sehr ruhig zum Schlafen, super! Adrians Kommunikation war top - uns wurde jederzeit schnell weitergeholfen und alle vorab gesendeten Anleitungen waren sehr hilfreich. Wir kommen gern wieder, wenn wir nach Stockholm zurückkehren!

It was very easy and cheap reaching the apartment from the central station even late at night. The host provided a clean and cozy apartment, with everything we needed and even more. Always kind since the booking, she gave useful advice on how to best enjoy the city. She even proactively offered to lend us rain jackets because of the weather. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and surrounded by nature. We even saw both hedgehogs and deers in the streets :) The metro station is easy to reach by less than 10 minutes walk and took us to the city centre quicker than we expected. We definitely will come back as our experience with Karin and Stockholm was wonderful! Fully recommended.

Magiskt boende... mycket trevligt ställe in till skogen. Fridfullt, boendet var mycket fint, rent och snyggt o hade allt man behöver, tom tvättmaskin. Fri parkering. Nära till buss för att åka kommunalt in till centrala Stockholm. Nära livsmedelsaffär. Mycket trevlig hyresvärd!! Billigt o passar familj, 2 vuxna+2 barn el som vi 4 vuxna. Rekommenderas starkt istället för dyra hotel inne i centrala Stockholm.

Wir hatten eine herrliche Zeit in Stockholm! Nach dem täglichen Besichtigungsprogramm dann mit Tunnelbanen und Bus schnell in den ruhigen Vorort, gute Verkehrsanbindung. Entspannter Tagesausklang in netter Gegend am See. Thomas hat uns beim CheckIn sogar von der Bahn abgeholt und gezeigt, wie und wo die UBahn fährt, die Bushaltestellen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gezeigt, alles super erklärt. Die Wohnung war perfekt mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtet, sehr schön nordisch schlicht und zweckmäßig, sehr geräumig, Bad mit Wanne und Dusche. Küche mit allem ausreichend ausgestattet. Der Kontakt zu Thomas und Madeleine war sehr herzlich, nie aufdringlich und immer zuvorkommend. Wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub (bei herrlichem Sommerwetter) und danken den beiden sehr für ihre Gastfreundschaft. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Malin and Dennis are wonderful hosts. They are friendly, kind and welcoming. They answered our questions about Stockholm and gave great recommendations. The apartment was clean and spacious. The backyard is beautiful and allowed my children to play. Highly recommend!

AnnaMaria's home is a little way outside of town but easy to reach by multiple modes of easy to manuever public transportation. I really enjoyed being in a place that felt like home and allowed me to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Another great aspect is the neighborhood. Her place is on a busy street but it doesn't feel like it at all. The community is laid back and just peaceful. I really enjoyed my time and am grateful AnnaMaria allowed me to stay in her place.

Very nice neighborhood, easy check-in and check-out, clean, quiet. Everything was great. If you have a car, it is a superb location. If you don't have a car, be prepared for some walking to reach public transportation. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the metro or train station. There are some bus stations nearby as well (5 minutes walk), but bus service is not that frequent. In total, great place and location.

We had a grand stay in Tobias place. Location is great and being in a cul de sac, nice and quiet. Place is small (toilet is tough if you have long legs!), but a nice place with good fittings. Tobias was very responsive.

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place. Jag är väldigt nöjd med lägenheten, den passade mitt besök i Stockholm perfekt. Eiad var en väldigt bra värd och gav oss instruktioner som var enkla att följa. Parkeringen utanför lägenheten var också väldigt smidigt.
