We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

The place has a TRAIN STATION, bus connection and highway connection and many MARKETS within walking distance. University of Giessen or THM Giessen/Friedberg are within easy reach. Direct train connection to Frankfurt MESSE or Frankfurt main train station. The apartment has Wi-Fi with 100 Mbit connection. Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

Hello , My name is Gräweheinersch and I am a vacation rental. I am at home in the land of the angry giants, in the Hickengrund in the wooded Siegerland, the region between Rubens and Landluft. More precisely in Burbach-Holzhausen. I am about 80 m² and have a large living/sleeping room, a modern kitchen, a spacious shower room and a large balcony. Koans Kuhstall consists of the first floor of the former stables and an extension. It is part of a complex of farm buildings dating back to 1610 and is located in a small, peaceful village with direct access to hiking and cycling paths. We have tried to create a cosy and comfortable space for you - ideal for families, couples or simply someone looking for some peace and quiet. Since we live next door, we are always at hand should you need anything.

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

We rent a beautiful, cozy vacation home. The vacation home is located on the grounds of the former Grube Maria directly on the edge of the forest. A little off the main building. Thanks to the high-quality amenities and some extras such as infrared cabin, wood-burning stove, sauna with outdoor shower, large terrace overlooking the forest and much more, our vacation home is the ideal place for rest and relaxation.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
