Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Bruny Island Hideaway

Only if I can show you how to be happy with little. It is simple and minimalistic, it is green and sustainable, it is so wild that you feel a million miles away from civilisation. Surrounded by 99 acres of conservation forest, you will find abundant wildlife. You can hear the birds during the day and wallabies at night. Eagles soar in the sky. Try stargazing and spot the Aurora. I enjoy the tranquillity and solitude of the place, but it's also special to share with company. 4WD is recommended.

Apple Crate Shack

The house is a spacious architect-designed one-bedroom studio: great for couples enjoying a weekend away or solo adventurers looking to explore the area. Watch the sunrise over the Channel, chill out on the deck in the afternoon sun, then finish the day with a hot outdoor shower under the stars (indoor shower also available). Located in Flowerpot, my place sits between a heritage apple orchard and an organic vineyard, 40 mins from Hobart. The house is NOT on Bruny Island but 10mins drive away

The Stone Cottage - Bruny Island

Nestled within the old growth forest of Simpson's Bay, you'll discover one of the islands unique stone houses. The Cottage is perfectly located a few minutes drive south of Bruny Islands world famous Isthmus. Central to bush walking tracks, birdlife sanctuaries, bushland reserves, pristine beaches, rugged coastlines and much more. Did we mention that wallabies, including missy, one of the local rare white wallabies visits daily. The cottage is suitable for couples, families, and small groups.

Luxury yurt glamping at Littlegrove

Nestled in an olive grove with views over Bruny Island’s famous Fluted Cape, our yurts offer the ultimate romantic glamping experience, with private bathroom and cooking facilities and an outdoor bath and fire pit for star gazing. Each yurt is furnished with vintage wares collected from all over the world, an internal wood fire, timber floors, and wool lined walls for cosy nights. Double glazed windows look out over the grove and surrounding forest which wraps 360 degrees around our farm.

The Hideout Cabin

Take yourselves away on a stunning waterfront nature retreat at this private, peaceful and stylish solar powered cabin in the middle of the Tasmanian wilderness. Set up for up to four adults, this gorgeous home offers waterfront views, two luxurious bedrooms, a large kitchen with a Glemgas 6 burner gas stove and oven, an indoor fireplace, coffee machine and a fire-pit for enjoying balmy evenings. Add an absolute abundance of wildlife, fishing and swimming and you have the perfect getaway!

Lune owners Sarah and Olly acknowledge the Nununi people, Traditional Owners of the land on which the cabin stands, and pay respects to Elders past and present.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
