Here, you live right on the edge of the forest and don't have to walk for more than a few minutes to reach two child-friendly swimming areas with sandy beaches, where the largest one has a kiosk, boat rental, and a diving tower. Here you can also watch the sun go down on the terrace of Sala's best restaurant, Måns Ols. For those who want to exercise, there are both illuminated trails and mountain bike trails very close by. You can also walk to the nearby silver mine.

Two kilometers away is Sala Silver Mine and into the city center it is about five kilometers. Bicycles are available to borrow.
