Two friendly dogs will welcome you to this serene and comfortable retreat center. Ideal as a base to explore the town or the Gila wilderness. Rooms are colorfully decorated and wildlife is abundant. Hike from the house or relax on the front porch.
“Azaima has truly created a sanctuary!! The setting and place are ideal, but the extra care and special touches she has added make it extraordinary! Azaima provides a comfortable balance between being available as needed and respecting privacy. An unexpected amenity...Her two precious dogs, Cassie and Zolie. They contribute naturally to the warmth and serenity of this wonderful experience!”
Personally fenced wood cabin, all walks of life are welcome, available for short and medium term stay and sanctuary.
“Jan & Lew were such kind and gracious hosts! We had to visit Silver City for our dog to get an operation but ended up having a lovely time! The cozy cabin was just that, cozy! We were met with such hospitality upon arrival. Jan left us delicious baked goodies and homemade apple jelly that was to die for. We hope to be back soon!!”
We are a half mile from State Rt. 15 on 29 secluded acres near the Gila National Forest. The setting is quite pretty and we have lots of wildlife on the property. The open area has a full size bed and a sleeper sofa, a small table with chairs, microwave, coffee pot, and small refrigerator. The back of the bunkhouse has a walk in shower, sink and toilet. It does not have a kitchen. We do not allow smoking inside. We don't allow children or pets as the Bunkhouse is not a good fit for them.
“Mike is an amazing host. Pulling up to the destination with a crew of deer all around was awesome. Mike has trails setup around the property, which is great and there is a ton of wildlife to see. Mike’s personal touch is his fresh baked treats which were always delicious. We highly recommend Mike and if anyone is looking for a great out of the way place to get back to nature a bit and want a great value, he’s the man to do it with!”
