Waterfront holiday rentals in Silvaplana

The apartment has an unbelievable view. The view out the front door will take your breath away. It's beautiful. The entire town is walkable and worth exploring. The train and ferry stations are also walking distance from the apartment, and we ended up using both for day trips to other lake cities. This is truly a magical location. We will forever remember having our morning coffee or pre-dinner wine on the lake, a mere 10 feet from our front door. Francesca and her mother were amazing, responsive, and helpful in every way. They left us a bottle of their family's wine as a welcome present. On our departure day, it was pouring rain, and they offered to drive us to the train station. So unexpected and kind. I would highly recommend this apartment and location. We'll visit again.

I honestly don’t think I could recommend this place more if I could. From the amazing communication with Emi, the extremely clean and well looked after property to the VIEWS… it was just perfect! I cannot express how incredible the views are from this property, we kept saying it just doesn’t look real, this is certainly the place to go! Emi was also so helpful and lovely, she was able to get all our reservations even though I left it so last minute, she was also at hand when we needed help or guidance, she just made the whole experience so smooth it really made our experience that much better. I thank you so much for a trip of a lifetime!

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

The flat was lovely and cool, spacious, and had everything we needed. We arrived to all the essentials (milk, eggs, water…), and loved being able to leave for evening swims just outside the bedroom door. There is a ferry port five minutes down the road on foot, and you can explore the whole of como! Great restaurants pretty much next door which was great!

The most beautiful apartment, with a gorgeous view from the balcony. It feels like a real Swiss log cabin with an open fire & lovely wooden furniture. The cosy yet open plan living area I loved. The secret room is such a fun touch (didn’t find it straight away, which made it even more fun). Great location for me, as close to family and 1minute from the Wynegg. A very comfy bed with feathered duvet & pillows and the apartment was always the perfect temperature and warm. The apartment has everything you need and more, adaptors, board games, fully stocked kitchen and a coffee machine. The hosts were amazing, so friendly and helpful and made the stay really simple and easy for me. I will definitely be back and so will my family.

Such an amazing place and decorated so nicely. We stayed here for a few nights on our honeymoon and it was beautiful! Would recommend and stay here again!

Die Unterkunft von Kicca war genau wie beschrieben. Der Garten mit Zugang zum See ist traumhaft. Wir haben leider eine sehr regenreiche Zeit erwischt. Dann sollte man bedenken, dass das Appartement sehr klein ist und auch die Lüftung im Bad war nicht ausreichend, sodass es zum Teil zu einem unangenehmen Geruch und Feuchtigkeit kam. Wenn es wärmer und sonniger ist sollte das aber kein Problem sein. Mit dem Auto sehr nah an Bellaggio. Vorher einkaufen- keine grossartigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!

Wir wurden vor einigen Jahren auf Lavin aufmerksam und haben uns dort spontan wohlgefühlt. Deswegen buchten wir schon ein Jahr im voraus dies schöne Wohnung und haben es nicht bereut. Steivan informierte uns rechtzeitig, dass die Wohnung schon früher am Tag beziehbar ist. Als wir ankamen, waren alle Räume kuschelig warm, blitzsauber und aufgeräumt - wir fühlten uns von der ersten Minute wie zu Hause. Da ich sehr gerne koche und backe, war es eine besondere Freude, dass es eine sehr gute Küchenausstattung gibt, die ich auch gerne jeden Tag nutzte. Auch auch das Bad, mit der großzügigen Dusche und Badewanne sind ein Genuß nach einem Ski- oder Wandertag. Wir hatten wieder einmal Glück mit dem Wetter, sodass wir einige Male, die Terrasse mit dem schönen Blick auf die Berge nutzen konnten. Wir haben auch sofort von Steivan organisiert, den Zugang zu den Gästekarten bekommen. Leider kann man damit nur bis Ardez fahren, bis Scuol kostet es extra. Klare Empfehlung!!! Grazia fich!!!

Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

Wunderschöne und einzigartige Unterkunft, in einer ruhigen Gegend direkt am Wasser. Unterkunft ist mit allein wichtigen Dingen ausgestattet. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, gibt es die Möglichkeit direkt vor dem Haus zu parken. Ins Stadtzentrum ist man am Wasser entlang ca. 20 min zu Fuß unterwegs. WLAN funktioniert top. Ein Restaurant ist direkt hinter dem Haus was gutes Essen serviert. Francesca war sehr nett und gibt einem sehr hilfreiche Tipps für ein tollen Aufenthalt in Lecco und am Comer See.

Alloggio super carino, facilmente raggiungibile. L’host è stata chiara in ogni istruzione e sempre disponibile per eventuali chiarimenti.

This is a wonderful apartment. There is a river in front of the terrace. You have everything you need - from a well equipped kitchen to a barbeque. We loved the location, it is very close to hiking trails. Sufers is quite small, but you have a little shop and a dairy farm. Thanks for this wonderful stay!

I booked Elena’s house for my parents stay in Varenna and they truly enjoyed it. The location, space and great communication made their visit truly memorable. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Varenna!

Die Unterkunft war wirklich wunderschön und teils richtig niedlich eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin hat super geklappt. Man sollte sich allerdings bewusst sein, dass der Weg zur Unterkunft stark von einer normalen Straße abweicht. Man fährt etwa 20 Minuten über sehr herausfordernde Wege. Wer die Natur liebt, wird dafür aber mit absoluter Ruhe und einer traumhaften Umgebung belohnt.

This was our second stay, and definitely not our last. Maurizio was responsive and kind as ever, helping us out beyond what many other hosts would do. The flat itself is perfect for two people. Each time has been with my mum who has accessibility needs. There is only one step in the property and that is the front door. The shower is walk-in, and the bed is of high quality. The bedroom does not receive much daylight, so is the coolest room in the property (a blessing when the weather gets warmer). The castle is in prime location, 1 minute walk to the small, free beach. There are several benches scattered around - good for those that struggle to sit on the ground. We ate several times at La Porta Verde, a small café that do incredible paninis and pinsa. There is work undergoing near the property. Overall, noise was not that noticeable, mainly because we were out for the day. They do start working between 7:45-8:30, but generally quiet (no noise at all if at the beach).

This was the most unusual lodging I've ever been in on a road trip The house had everything I needed and more. My favorite spot is the upper terrace. I was lucky enough to spend a few evenings there, processing all the content for the day to the sound of birdsong. It's not easy to get here, but it's worth it. When you open the door of this house, it's like stepping into a fairy tale. Unforgettable experience, thank you!

Elvira and Dave were friendly, very responsive, and have a lovely place to stay. The apartment was cosy, very clean, and everything we needed for our trip away! I recommend staying here when visiting Lake Como, as it was exactly what we needed.

Wir waren 5 Damen, die eine wundervolle Zeit dort verbrachten! Wir haben dort 2 Geburtstage gefeiert und es war einfach perfekt! Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Zum Supermarkt sind wir allerdings mit dem Auto gefahren und konnten dort alles was das Herz begehrt einkaufen. Wir können diese Unterkunft einwandfrei empfehlen und werden wiederkommen!

Great studio, very clean and as described, a very well thought out space. Hosts have really thought of everything you might need. Great communication. Would recommend you consider the stairs and ceiling height if you are tall.

This flat was extremely well located, in walking distance of the center of St Moritz, the train station, the cable car to Corviglia, a large supermarket and the Overva swimming and spa complex. The place was quaint and beds comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit in Churwalden genossen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das Wohnzimmer sehr gemütlich und auch sonst hat es alles was man braucht in der Wohnung. Unserem Sohn hat vor allem der Tischtennistisch im Keller sehr gefallen. Wir können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist gut und die Wohnung ist auch mit dem ÖV gut zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Bernadette war sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had a very positive stay at Maria’s holiday home. It has loads of character and everything you need, the bed is very comfortable. The apartment is so central to everything but still very peaceful. The views of the lake are stunning along the front with many places to eat. We also tried the restaurant right outside the front door which makes the most amazing Tiramisu! Maria was so friendly and helpful meeting us even though our flight was delayed.when we arrived. A lovely experience all round.
