Everything was really good. Thank you so much to Francesca and her sister for being so friendly and welcoming. It was easy to get to the apartment by train or ferry. The train station is about 10–15 minutes away on foot, and the ferry is just a couple of minutes away. The apartment is in a very beautiful place. The town is quiet, nice, and comfortable. The apartment itself is cozy and has everything you need for your stay. You can even hear the sound of the waves, which is very relaxing. It’s a great place for a holiday. I really recommend it and would love to come back!

What an absolutely amazing place. So happy to have stayed here! Views are to die for and the old building has so much charm but is beautifully refinished. The local pizza place is also very cozy🥰

Apartment with a superb view of the lake, right in the heart of Menaggio and a 3min walk from the ferry departures. Very nice on-site parking but attention for small car (type SUV or sedan not possible). Well equipped, very clean, and quiet apartment. Baby cot and high chair provided by Marco, everything was perfect for our stay with our two daughters 4 and 1.5 years old! Marco is a very responsive and available host. Self check-in by key box. If we have to return to Lake Como, we are definitely staying here again!

Beautifully located and very nice AirBnb. The kitchen is above average equipped for an AirBnb and you really have everything you need. Unfortunately, it was a little dusty in places and in some rooms it was a bit cold despite heating (travel time: winter). However, from the beginning we were equipped with additional blankets and a small welcome package. The contact with Martina & Uwe, as well as the lady with the key to the accommodation was super easy, always likeable and you didn't have to wait long for answers. In addition, there is an access to the lake directly below the AirBnb and the view is outstanding. Unfortunately, the place itself does not offer too much and the parking situation is not the best, but we did not let it go. All in all really a great stay with extremely warm owners and wonderful views

Absolut perfect stay, great directions, flexible check out and Stefania is very responsive for questions or any information needed. The appartment is great equipment, there is everything you need and more to have a comfortable stay. 10/10 can only reccomend, thanks a lot again.

This was hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The apartment is perfectly located right on the lake, with stunning views from the lookout. It’s fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from the kitchen to the bathroom essentials. Check-in was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed with chocolates, sparkling wine, and fresh flowers — such a thoughtful touch. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Varenna, but the walk is beautiful and well worth it. Plus, there’s a fantastic restaurant just across the road. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We had a wonderful short stay at the lake. Great location of the apartment, wonderful view. Downstairs is a bar and separate restaurant. Huge free parking. The lake is about 50 meters away. The nearest grocery store is 600 m away. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, even more. The purpose of some things we didn't understand. But they are there. The apartment is furnished with good taste, everything is in its place. The bed is comfortable. Bed linen is of high quality. A towel and a minimum cosmetic set are also included in the price. A normal bathtub, a good shower. Lots of options for walking, biking, walking, with a dog. One time at night, a herd of deer came in. More than 10 individuals. Fantastic sight. Very high quality and pleasant accommodation. I would love to come back in the summer.

A charming apartment with views of Come Lake. Emanuela is super available, welcoming and responsive. The apartment is very well equipped, well suited for a family with 2 children and very close to a pier and the greenway for hiking. We recommend it!

Monica was the best host I've met. The communicaton with her was very easy, her response time is super quick. The instructions to go in to home is very clear and she is supporting the instructions with videos. Her place is exactly as it seems on the photos and maybe even more beautiful. The view from the balcony and the terrace is mesmerizing. Neighbourhood was very calm and quiet but it might be because it was off season when I stayed there. Although the neighbourhood is calm, the markets and closest shopping centers are only within 15 minutes driving distance. House is also very close to the Villa Balbianello. The house was very clean, Monica left everything we need in the fridge and kitchen. Lastly she helped us a lot during our stay with her recommendations for restaurants, shops, facilities around the region.

If you’re thinking about this place, I’d 100% do it. It was amazing, clean, peaceful and a great experience.

We had an amazing stay at Paola and Giorgio’s Lake House. We felt right at home. Giorgio met us and showed us the place and how to use the Italian coffee maker to make Italian coffee which we did twice a day. He showed us the 3-day itinerary that Paula had put together for us. We did almost everything on her write up including a walk around the outskirts of Bellagio and a day of ferrying to Varenna and Lenno. We went to the restaurants she recommended and enjoyed them very much. We had breakfast each day at an outdoor restaurant near the boats. This was one of our favorite trips and we would love to return to The Lake House. Thanks, Glenn and Kay

Amazing to stay in such a grand building right by lake

We were a few days with our family after the new year. It is a duplex penthouse with wonderful views of Lake Lugano. The place is super quiet and very very beautiful. The house is comfortable and has all the things you might need. It has a magnificent terrace. There are bikes and kayaks to be able to use . Nicola was our contact and was super friendly and helpful and suggested excellent places to eat in the area. I hope I can come back sometime in spring and summer and be able to make the most of this little paradise.

I liked everything, the photos responded to reality . And the apartment has everything you need and even more. The view from the balcony is just great, in the morning you drink the most bliss. All issues were resolved very quickly. Recommended .

We spent a week family vacation with 2 toddlers in Caslano. Thanks to the well-equipped apartment including many toys, we felt right at home. Pamela gave us great tips for restaurants and excursions!!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed the time in Churwalden. The kitchen is very well equipped, the living room very cozy and also otherwise it has everything you need in the apartment. Our son especially liked the ping pong table in the basement. We can only recommend the apartment. The location is good and the apartment is also easily accessible by public transport. The communication with Bernadette has been very easy and straightforward. We will be happy to come back.

A clean home upon arrival. Lots of stuff for the children, which is nice. To the lake is only a few minutes walk. Possibly restaurants are close by. I would recommend this place! Minus point is if you want to sleep with the window open you can hear the train and a waterfall. With windows closed, you hardly hear anything.
