Monthly Rentals in Shortstanding

We very much enjoyed our stay at Glynis’s place. The apartment is spacious and very peaceful. The kitchen is well-equipped and we cooked our own breakfast each morning. We liked that the location is close to various hiking opportunities. Glynis was very welcoming and we hope to come back at some point in the future. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely weekend. The area is secluded and makes for a perfect staycation if you are looking for a private countryside stay. Gabriel left us plenty of local recommendations so was easy to find what to do when there. Would 100% return

What a great find! This is possibly one of the nicest Airbnb cottages we have stayed in, the location is fabulous with just a short walk to the Forest of Dean, Pub and Village Store. Lindsey and Steve are very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge, it was a treat to arrive to find some fresh orange juice, milk and yummy Bread Shop cakes in the fridge. The cottage itself is well equipped, beautifully presented and exceptionally clean, we would not hesitate to return. From the cottage we walked through the Forest to Symonds Yat, which is approximately 2 miles, where we enjoyed a breakfast bap and a sensational view over the Wye Valley (highly recommended). we had a fantastic stay at Ben and Kate's. the location was perfect for us and the cottage was lovely. We were super impressed with the facilities, it had everything we needed for us and our dogs! the hosts were really communicative in the lead up and throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we need. the enclosed field was so helpful for us with our dogs. We will definitely be booking again!
