Monthly Rentals in Shock Hill

This place was perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway. Once we figured out the layout of the facility, we could easily access the riverwalk and get to Main Street without walking along the busy city access road. Josh gave excellent instructions for check-in, parking, and provided lots of ideas for meals and entertainment within 6-10 walking minutes. Also lots of easy hikes within a short drive of the place. If you go in the summertime, definitely take the Gondola up to Peak 8. Lots of fun things to do up there if you want to get out of town without driving. Will definitely reach out again for another weekend stay.

Stephen's home was absolutely beautiful and truly exceeded our expectations! The balcony space was incredible, with stunning views of the mountains & gondola, a perfect backdrop for our stay. The location was ideal for skiers, just a quick less-than-5-minute drive to Peak 7 and 8. While walking to the gondolas in ski gear would be challenging due to the uphill gravel road in winter, it'd be walkable during the summer. The entire home was cozy and impeccably clean. We felt super cozy in the beds, finally an airbnb with firm and comfortable mattresses! The longer pillows were a nice touch. The multiple living room spaces were perfect for relaxing, and the downstairs area could easily be a separate space. The hot tub was sparkling clean, a perfect end to each day. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend, especially during non-peak seasons for an even more relaxing experience. P.S. Stephen was an exceptional host, graciously accommodating our early/late check-in requests.

We stayed here on a family vacation, and it was fantastic. Very nice home with all of the amenities you will need. Plenty of space, a nice family room off the kitchen for kids or a private space at night. This room could be a great movie room too! The kitchen is very spacious, and the appliances are high-end and great for cooking for large groups. There is no bathroom on the main floor from the kitchen, so you will have to go up or down stairs to use the bathroom. Fine for us, but if would have brought my mother, this would have been a problem. Some wear and tear on the furniture is the only negative thing we found. Very close to Shock Hill Gondola! There was a moose and her baby in the back yard! That was exciting to see! We would stay here again!

Susan was an awesome host! She was super communicative and responsive. She provided restaurant recommendations in advance, we visited in off season so getting into restaurants was not a problem. We walked to downtown daily for shopping, meals, etc. Hot tub was great!! As she mentioned in description, there is now some development behind her place but you could still see mountains! The place had everything we needed and pricing was better than other places we considered. We would definitely stay there again!
