Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Shilin District

We loved the common spaces in the house! The dining area was nice and cosy, and the balcony was a great area to chill as well. The swing in the house was also a nice addition to the decoration of the entire house. Rooms and toilets were clean, and the host was very meticulous in preparing the indoor slippers for us, including a baby cot and bath tub for my 1.5 year old toddler. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would highly recommend for families to stay!

I took my 21 month old daughter & my mother (visiting from Canada) to stay in Taipei at Grace’s home. We had a lovely stay and my daughter had an easy adjustment with their travel baby bed & high chair. The place was clean and near convenience stores which is great for us. The beds also were big and very comfortable. This mama had an amazing nights sleep for 2 nights!! Also this body was extremely responsive and proactive! I felt very comfortable staying at their home. Thank you so much for everything 🩷

great location. stayed here twice, both time the unit was clean and quiet. between 2 subway stations and accisible to 3 different subway lines.

The house is clean and comfortable, suitable for one to two people. The location of the house is close to the Taipei Train Station, hence, very convenient for going to other places or leaving for the airport. The house location and staying instruction provided are clear and the response is quick. The owner is kind. I needed to go to the airport at 4:00 am, the owner even provides me instruction of commute. Overall, it is a very enjoyable stay!

I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made it immediately comfortable. I especially appreciated the easy access to both bus and train stations. Super convenient for getting around without a car. One of my favorite features was the laundry area with a washer and dryer. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding after a day out. There are plenty of street food options and convenience stores within walking distance. The only minor issue was figuring out how to get cold water from the dispenser — I couldn’t quite manage it, but it didn’t impact the overall experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a calm atmosphere!

Great location with a lot of space inside!

Joel's place is on the 4th floor with nobody above you right in the heart of the night market with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Please note it's up narrow steep stairs with handrails for only the first two floors and no handrail on the top stairway. It was perfect for us and our 5 year old but if you had kids under 3 or an elderly over 70+ or a bad back to carry your luggage I would wouldn't recommend it. That being said it was perfect for us, near the MRT, bus lines, science museum and night market and lots of cool buildings. Joel was also very responsive and even offered to help get our checked baggage upstairs. Thank you Joel!

Really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb! The hosts were so welcoming, responsive and flexible about our arrival time. They gave us a great rundown of the apartment, plus some New Year places recommendations. Totally recommend this place if you're looking for friendly and helpful hosts!

Great place to stay, I will stay here again next time.

The apartment was clean, cosy, and spacious enough for a family of five—definitely worth what we paid for. The only downside was that the walls were a bit thin, so you could hear the neighbours now and then. The location was great—just a 10-minute walk to Shilin Night Market and close to the MRT, local eateries, and convenience stores. Overall, it was a great stay, and would definitely recommend this place!

Nice place to stay located in a more residential area rather than a touristy are, but it's close to a ton of great restaurants, parks and malls. It's about 15 minutes walk away from the nearest MRT station, and there are also plenty of bus stands nearby. The interior is pretty spacious, modern and clean and the apartment is stocked well with everything needed for a short trip. As in typical Taiwanese fashion, the beds are extremely firm, but in this case some of the springs are so strong they kind of poked up into my body while I slept. As the listing indicates, this apartment is located on the 5th floor of a building without an elevator. It's a nice workout getting luggage up there! June sends very clear instructions how to find and enter the building, so everything went smoothly on both checkin and checkout. This is a great place to stay for a larger group!

The host was very comfortable. My colleague in TW said this area is good for eating and the transportation is nice. It is good that Gordon provide all personal cleaning stuff. Shampoo shower gel toothbrush towel, please let me know where u get the shower gel, it's awesome😄👍🏻

Booked this listing for my colleague, and the host was very communicative, helpful. The stay was smooth, and even coincided with the host arriving at the airport and giving my colleague a ride to their listing! Thank you for such a fantastic stay.

Overall our staying was comfortable. The host is nice and easy to communicate. Plenty of restaurants and shops around. The only drawback is the bin next to wash machine had small flys around and they are hard to get rid of with.

Although it was on the side of the road, it was not noisy as it was pre-determined, there was a market and convenient store downstairs, the typhoon spent two days here without worrying about food, safe and comfortable residence

Especially good host! It really feels like home here.😭😭😭 Daily necessities are all very considerately prepared! They also gave us Taipei travel guides and various precautions! It's really different from other commercial B&Bs! Couldn't recommend it more!

So worth it for a few days in Taipei. Sunny was an incredible host and the apartment was spotless when we got there. Being able to check in at 12 was also amazing. There are lots of really good food places around the apartment and the there are several bus stops within walking distance. The metro is about a 20 minute walk away.

We arrived in Taipei for a sporting event and chose the house for its proximity to our arena. Yalin has always been available to answer all our questions quickly and courteously. The house is large, spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay; we also found the house in perfect order and impeccably clean. Yalin also allowed us to check in earlier than expected! Nearby, a few minutes' walk away, there are shops, shopping centres and places to eat well for a few dollars. Great stay!
