We have preserved the structure of the pre-war building and rebuilt the water system. Staying in an old house allows you to experience a different kind of life than your usual daily routine. Popular tourist spots such as Omicho Market, Ozaki Shrine (dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu), and Oyama Shrine (dedicated to Maeda Toshiie) are within walking distance. You can enjoy the charm of the ancient capital of Kanazawa. Mutsuwa Shicho, which overlooks the garden scenery, is an accommodation that offers a garden and balcony, and is about a 14-minute walk to Kenrokuen. Opened in July, 2024. "La Fotografia Marrone" is a 9-minute walk from "Kanazawa Station" and a 6-minute walk from "Omicho Market", where there is a bus to Kanazawa's major tourist attractions. The building faces a quiet street lined with Kanazawa Machiya, and you can see a large temple in Kanazawa, Higashibetsuin. The building is made up of a traditional exterior and floor plan. In addition, in line with the inn’s theme of ‘photography’, we are displaying photos by the Japanese photographer Yasutaka Kojima (IG @yasutakakojima).What’s more, you can relax indoors while listening to a selection of ‘music’ chosen by Mr Kojima to accompany the photos. We have facilities such as a washing machine so that guests can have a relaxing stay, close to Omicho Market, where you can cook and stay for the medium to long term. Getting around for a day is one of the pleasures of traveling, but I hope you can enjoy a relaxing stay for a day.

"Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance. Guests can optionally have breakfast, dinner, etc. (breakfast 1,000 yen, dinner from 2,000 yen. Please ask). Features of this inn include songs and saxophone performances by the owner couple, a wood stove experience, a barbecue in the garden, and calligraphy lessons (extra charge).

Noto cottage - Natural hot springs in cypress bath

Noto cottage "Hinoki no ie" is a wooden house with Onsen (Hot spring). Surrounded by the nature of the Noto area, it's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto (about 1 hour by car which is recommended) making it convenient for sightseeing. You can relax in the living room, the tatami room or the cozy open space. The bath, made of hinoki (Japanese cypress) When you step into the bathroom your whole body is enveloped in the scent of the wood. The house is also very close to the ocean.
