This is a private inn that has been remodeled from an old house with DIY. Located on the edge of a leafy village, you can enjoy extraordinary experiences such as the owner's special interiors, wine barrel baths and long-lasting sofas. On the same site is a thatched house where the owner lives. You might relax in a nostalgic, modern space that uses an old-fashioned box staircase. This property can be used for families, groups (max 6 person). Of course, 1 person or 2 people also welcome.

Loft on top of a machiya

This is a unique loft space on top of a rare 3 floors machiya located on the central island of Kyoto. On the top floor of HASU former ryokan, we have designed an ensuite appartement with 2 rooms that are like 2 small houses. One room is located on the East side, and the other on the West side, they both have their own shower. The house was renovated in 2020 in order to offer an authentic experience in an ancient ryokan, with a contemporary comfort.
