Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Shenandoah County

John was a wonderful host - responsive, communicative and helpful. We had a wonderful time and the cabin was well equipped and comfortable for a large group. The view from the deck is amazing! The only item to flag is a quite extensive set of check out instructions.

We had a fabulous time at the Hemlock Haven during spring break. We divided our time between morning hikes in Shenandoah NP and afternoons at the house. The host, Jean, was excellent - proactive with messaging and very responsive. The house is beautiful and meticulously organized. Dinners were a not too far drive, and we liked the Chop House Bistro, Dark Horse Irish Gastropub, and Vault & Cellar. We enjoyed evenings with our boys playing games on the enclosed porch with a fire going. We would definitely stay there again!

Overall wonderful stay, beautiful house. Very responsive host. We will definitely be back.

AMAZING!!!!!! The pictures do not do the Final Frontier justice. This cabin has everything you could possible need or want, even things you didn't know you wanted. We enjoyed our morning coffee & evening beverages on the screened in deck with amazing mountain views. Angela was very responsive & gave great ideas. Even the little things such as tissues were provided. Bed & furniture were comfortable. We loved curling up on couch watching a movie in the media room. Highly recommend staying at the Final Frontier. One of our favorite Airbnbs in the 13 years we've been using the service.

What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin in Basye was so wonderful, beautiful home beautiful views. It did rain for my most of my weekend stay but even with the rain my friends and I really enjoyed it! There is much to do indoors, beautiful kitchen and living place. True escape from the city, we were surrounded by mountains and trees and had no disturbances, calm neighborhood. I loved it ! Would come back again

This is our second time staying at Miranda's. It is a lovely house and looks exactly like the photos with great mountainside views looking across the Shenandoah Valley. We will certainly try to book Miranda's again the next time we visit the area.

First of all, the house is adorable from front to back! We loved the porch swing in the front and spent some time there. When we walked in, it immediately felt warm and inviting - it was a very clean house and had a clean, fresh smell - every room! Linens were clean and plenty of towels were available. Also, the location on the Main St was great too. We would definitely stay there again.
