Perfect stay for our group of 12 - exactly as described, this is not luxury but it is comfortable and easy and well laid-out. Everything exactly as described.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Eileen's. Her home was beautiful. The amenities she provided was above and beyond other places I have stayed. We loved the fresh eggs we were able to purchase. The home was warm and cozy on the cold nights. We used both the fire pit and the hot tub. They were both great. If we are in the area again we would definitely book again.

The "Sugar Shack" is a lovely place for a retreat. I picked it because there were enough bedrooms for a girlfriend retreat where everyone could have their own space, but I want to go back with my family and spend more time on the river which is just out the door! We loved spending time out on the porch eating meals, by the fire pit, and in the cozy living room watching movies. We also visited Seven Bends State Park (~20 min drive) for a nice hike. Hosts were very responsive and clear with instructions. Thank you Julie!

Great adorable cabin close enough to Luray / Shenandoah to get around easily, but about 7 minutes outside of town, so far enough to feel peaceful and quiet! Very cute decorations and plenty of space for the two of us. Fresh eggs were delicious and they also provided wood/kindling for the outdoor firepit at a nominal cost. Hosts were quite responsive. It's at the end of a gravel road with 2 other cabins close by. A bit of a stale woodsmoke smell in the cabin which is unsurprising given the fireplace, but may bother people with environmental allergies.

This cabin and location were as peaceful and relaxing as they come! It’s close to Shenandoah National Park if you’re looking for some hikes or other outdoor activities, but it’s a perfect place to just hang out in nature and relax. We did not want to leave and can’t wait to go back!

My fiancé, pup, and I booked this place for a relaxing valentine’s weekend getaway, and we got exactly that! The cottage was charming and such a peaceful oasis with the beautiful views and farm animals in clear sight. The hosts were kind enough to leave us farm fresh eggs, muffins, and valentine’s themed chocolates — all were delicious and well appreciated! Additionally, they were very responsive and extremely friendly :) My fiancé and I spent time cooking dinner together, I baked, and watercolored, it was a lovely time! I highly recommend this place and hope to be back!

My family really enjoyed our stay. It's definitely an off the grid kinda stay. So worth it to put the phone down and enjoy this gem in the woods. The place was well stocked and recently updated. Hot tub was a big added plus! Its definitely a haul from Indiana, but if we are ever in the area again we will be back!!

Best Airbnb experience, the place was spotless, well stocked and had incredible views. Easy drive from DC, great hiking in the National park nearby. The hot tub was fantastic, secluded so you relax. I didn’t use the barn space but it looked amazing. I loved the fire pit. I can’t remember seeing many sunsets without houses or buildings in the view… here you can. This is the one airbnb I would want to come back to consistently. Great hosts, perfect for a getaway to West Virginia for some peace and quiet. Next time I’ll stay longer now that I know what to expect.

My family had the best time. We spent Easter weekend, took a day trip to hike at Shenandoah (and visit the Luray caverns). The trail heads we went to were between 1 and 1.5 hours away. We also hiked Big Schloss in George Washington state park (about 20 min to the trail head). The location was peaceful and private. Everything met or exceeded expectations. We had a great time as a family playing pool and games and enjoying the view. We had everything we needed to make meals, and restaurants and grocery stores are about 10 min away. The hosts were great with communication and gave us recommendations when we asked. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at Donna’s beautiful Blue Ridge cabin! The home is nestled on a peaceful farm with gorgeous mountain views, perfect for our family getaway. The house was even better than expected: spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed. The pool was a huge hit with the kids, and the weather couldn’t have been better! Donna was incredibly kind and responsive, with super clear instructions for check-in, check-out, and pool care. Just a small note for future guests: the home is on a working farm with cattle nearby, which we actually loved watching and thought added to the charm! But as with any farm setting, that does mean some natural farm smells and bugs here and there. Donna is very transparent about this in the listing, and it’s just part of the experience of staying in such a peaceful, rural setting. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Thank you, Donna, for sharing your home

We had a great stay here! Culin gave us a lot of recommendations for things in the area and was very responsive. The house was clean and area was great for our dog and young son.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place is very charming, clean and quiet. With serene farmland surrounding a cozy home, we will always think back to our getaway in Quicksburg!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home is incredible–so peaceful and beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully put together. It felt like a perfect escape. Hannah and Brian were very helpful, kind, and responsive throughout our entire stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely love to come back!

This charming little cottage is a wonderful bonus rental to the main house. Though I had not originally rented this cottage when I rented the main house, at the last minute, I had extra guests that needed accommodations and John was able to rent the cottage on very short notice. The cottage was clean and ready for an early check-in in record time and my guests were very happy with this sweet cottage. A beautiful location that is such a lovely spot for a getaway or special weekend trip. A nice little taste of country life for all who come to the Shenandoah Valley.

Checked all the boxes for what we were looking for. Met expectations. Pool and hot tub were the highlight for us! Plenty of towels provided and the laundry machines were great. Brought some fishing rods and kids caught a couple small fish right off the dock. Lower level rooms have been shifted around and listing photos were not updated at the time of booking. There are no bunks in the lower level. Two massage chairs and smaller tv replaced one of the bedrooms. This was a plus for us since we did not need the extra sleeping accommodations and the massage chairs got a lot of usage! Kitchen was perfect for staying in and making meals. Used the propane grill with no issues. No problems with neighbors. Respected the speed limit on the gravel road and kept to ourselves. Great stay and communication with host and property manager.

Unlike many other places we've stayed, this place was actually better than the pictures! Extremely nice and very well thought out amenities and finishing touches. We'll definitely be back!

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

Katie's Kottage was a lovely place to stay. It was peaceful and very relaxing. The bed was comfortable. I appreciated that Catherine included so many ideas for activities in the area. The had a basket full of pamphlets. Catherine and Richard were very friendly. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

This farmhouse was perfect for our weekend wedding trip!

House was as described and comfortable. It is a peaceful area and our dogs loved having lots of yard to play and run, and patrol for deer. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch rain and shine. It would have been nice to have a Keurig coffee machine but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped. Beds were all comfortable and house was clean. It was nice having a washer/dryer to use. The gas grill and hot tub were both a plus. Great place to visit when you want to bring the pups with you. Not a lot to do in the area but a visit to the Luray Caverns is worth it as well as a ride along Skyline Drive. For little ones, there is a playground behind the local elementary school as well as a nice one in Luray. Walmart, Food Lion, Dunkin, and other stores are conveniently located in Luray. Triple Crown BBQ was a hit for takeout and Chop House Bistro was excellent for dinner out. As is clearly noted in the home, ticks are plentiful so dogs should be checked regularly - we found a few on them daily.

Joan was a gracious and available host. This place was exactly as described. I had a bad storm the night before I left, and the power went out to the area, but the house has an automatic generator that kicked in within 15 seconds of the power going out. I would stay here again in a minute.

We had a wonderful stay here! Matt and Kelly were communicative through our visit, instructions for check in/out were easy to follow, and the house was so cozy and secluded -- exactly what we hoped for! We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future!

Wonder stay for our family reunion in the area. We had such an amazing time and the house is absolutely adorable.
