Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

The Shed offers peaceful rural and water views plus the occasional visit from wild deer and peacock. Nesting swallows on the porch in case you have a fear of birds! It is a restful stop on your travels, or an escape from the hustle bustle of life. Stand alone with a garage between it and the main house. A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.

The Puhoi Black Cottage

Eco-friendly tiny home on a private property. Features: private deck, fire pit, kitchenette (mini oven, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher), sofa bed, smart TV, Netflix, WiFi, spacious shower, filtered tank water. Breakfast ingredients, tea, coffee, milk, olive oil, eggs and honey supplied on arrival. Environmentally friendly products used. Less than 1km from Puhoi village.
