Holiday houses in Sheldon

Centrally located in Ash Grove, MO. The accommodations were simple but very comfortable. We have a couple of older family members who live in Ash Grove and we invited them to dinner along with other family who live in the area. We had seating for 6 to 8 guests for dinner plus comfortable seating in the living room. As a family who likes to cook together, we were very pleased that there is a good-sized grocery store within a very short walk and the kitchen was very well-equipped. The only item we would have liked would be a pitcher for serving iced tea, although it could be there is one but we didn't find it. We were also very glad that a Chinese restaurant recently opened next door. We had a very pleasant stay there and hope to stay there again!

We had a great stay at the West Mineral Vacation Home. We were in the area for a work trip, plenty of room for a group of 5. The place was extremely clean and tidy. The home is very new. Checking-in was easy. Vic was helpful with the instructions, and is a great host. Thanks! Joe and Crew

This place is PERFECTION!!! You can tell that so much thought went into meeting every need a person or dog might have!!!! The fenced in yard, kennels, dog treats, and so much more for anyone traveling with their dogs. People always say it’s the little things……well, it is. The coffee supplies, laundry supplies, snacks and drinks, toiletries, etc…..most Airbnbs don’t have those little details. I loved the decor!!! And that bathtub!!!! I LOVE the bathtub! I have never seen one like it!! Coffee on that back porch was so peaceful!!! We visited Joplin to adopt another Golden Retriever. We brought 2 with us and went home with 3!!!! It was the PERFECT place for all of us!!! I did not want to leave!

This place is off the chain… wildlife galore, off the beating path… great place to disconnect and get some R&R!!!! The cabin is custom built from trees on the property…. It snowed while we were there… so that added to the experience… Nathan is a jam up hostel!!! First class… Strongly suggest this cabin if you are headed his way!!! 🤙🏻✌️👍

This house was worth every penny. It easily accommodated 8 guests. Very clean, all updated appliances and the beds were very comfortable. Located on a cul de sac so no worries of traffic driving up and down the road all night. Tony was a great host. We'll gladly stay here again.

Tim and Sandy's cute hideaway was the perfect weekend trip destination. We had everything we could need and more. The orange cat, peaceful thunderstorms, turkey and deer were huge pluses. Beautiful property and very thoughtful hosts. Thank you thank you!

Enjoyed a family weekend at Black Diamond Lodge. My kids were excited to fish, make s’mores, play yard games and explore outdoors. Kitchen was well stocked with a variety of cookware. We brought the majority of our groceries with us. But the Wal-Mart in Lamar was a short drive for anything forgotten. Because we have family that live in this area we definitely plan to come back and stay again.

Wonderful place, really liked the host and his communication skills. Can’t say anything bad about my stay! Will deffinitely choose it again if I’m staying somewhere around!
