Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Which has just recently had a complete renovation from a former cobblers workshop. The space is accessed via a couple of steps with the open plan living area all on ground level consisting of a king size bed with luxury linen. Glamping pod @Merlwood_Farm nr Shawbury (hot tub)

Relax in your own little pod, set in a 5 acre field with adjoining woodland for walks. 1km from the village of Shawbury with a fantastic farm shop, co-op, bakery and more, it will take 30mins to walk. Our only neighbours are horses. The private (no other guests) wood-fired hot tub is £60 extra, not included in nightly rate. The shared shower/WC pod and well-equipped kitchen are a short walk. We have another pod and bell tent on site, so you could be sharing the WC & kitchen with 6 others.

Conveniently located on the outskirts of Shawbury village near the RAF base, just a short drive to both Shrewsbury and Telford. A newly renovated, comfy place to stay for business or pleasure. Sleeping up to 5, with two bedrooms with a choice of either a King bed or singles in the main bedroom, singles in the second bedroom and a sofa bed downstairs. A pub/restaurant, takeaway, bakery & convenience store are all just a short walk away and a garden and patio to enjoy the out-of-doors.

Getting around we would suggest you have a car or bike as there is no public transport or cabs. Please note we are a working farm so you will see and hear tractors during your stay. Our family are also keen equestrians so you will also see horses. There is also a Glamping Cabin in the field so you may see other guests during your stay.

The Summerhouse Tower is a very special holiday-home-for-two set within the rolling Shropshire countryside. A Grade II listed tower, this unique, romantic retreat enjoys excellent views to the east, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the south and the west. The Tower, built circa 1607, was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining dinner guests. Whilst the main house was destroyed by a fire, The Summer House is available for cosy stays throughout the year.
