Cozy School Bus Conversion

LeslieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
You have to book this little piece of "almost heaven!" it was a unique experience and very peaceful and comfortable! Not only was the bus exactly as described… The property and surroundings were absolutely beautiful! We walked around the beautiful property and even checked out the little saloon that Will built! We loved playing with the dogs on the front lawn! Will was very responsive and very friendly… Gave us a lot of suggestions and offered us anything we needed! We will definitely be back to book the school bus again or the treehouse! Don't miss out on this unique experience… Book it now!

Idyllic bedroom in peaceful rural setting

AllisonRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Donna was present upon arrival with a warm friendly greeting and was accommodating to our needs. She gave us excellent recommendations for places to hike per our request. The room was very large and clean with a pristine full private bathroom. There was a nice size mini fridge and microwave in the walk-in closet space which was much appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the temperature control was perfect. The peaceful, remote surroundings were just what we needed to relax and yet only 5 mins to town. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Antietam Retreat at Blue Haven

KarenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Lovely location, down a semi-private drive, surrounded by nature, and with a very responsive host. A few things for the prospective AirBnber to note: 1) Only a mini-fridge is available for you. The host keeps the main fridge for personal use. I didn't realize this until kind of late in the game. 2) Parking is not far but also maybe 25 yards? away. If you have a lot of stuff (hopefully not food you are trying to put in the mini-fridge) or are not able-bodied, it could be a bit difficult. 3) There is just a railing that separates the second floor drop from the first floor. If you have small kids of poor judgment, I would not recommend letting them up there! 4) Not recommended to drink the tap water, also disclosed a little late. 5) There is a pump or fan or some kind of mechanized noise running constantly from the porch which makes it a little hard to focus on the quiet sounds of the koi pond. If there is a way to turn this off or down it wasn't obvious!

Hidden Gem - Stay with Dan and Alice.

SueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was my second time staying at Hidden Gem and it was as lovely as the first. Daniel is an excellent host - great communication and thoughtful responses. The room is spacious and has a wonderfully comfortable bed and the entire place is spotlessly clean. The patio and fish pond are so very peaceful. And the pups are adorable! Highly recommend.

Elevated Potomac River Retreat

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful spot if you’re looking to be in the middle of nowhere and the middle of everything at the same time! Spent time exploring Shepherdstown, Sharpsburg, Boonsboro and Harper’s Ferry (all within 30 mins!) yet still felt secluded on this little home off the beaten path. Beautiful home, great host. In the Heart of Antietam

We had a great stay at Silvia’s place in Sharpsburg. Very quiet. Interesting town to walk through. Close to Shepherdstown and Shepherd University. We had plenty of room for our 5 guests and the house is comfortable and inviting.

Trailhead Hideaway

This is definitely a hidden gem. You’re a two min drive from Harper’s Ferry and if you love history you’ll want to visit. We were running a race and this was the perfect spot to head back to after.
