The hosts live in the main house on site so are available to answer any questions during your stay.

West Yorkshire Canalside cottage Stanley Wakefield

This quirky property is nestled between the Aire and Calder navigation canal and the River Calder so ideal for cyclists and walkers alike. The local pub is just a short stroll over the bridge where you can get hot food and a drink . The cottage has a large enclosed garden at the back with table and chairs. There is also a seating area overlooking the canal where you can watch the boats go by . There are many wonderful walks straight out of the door so a great place to bring your dog or your bike

Yingyangpad - wheelchair/accessible accommodation

WELCOME Now open for 2026 and looking forward to greeting guests both new and old. Built under the guidance of a wheelchair using friend we have provided most, but not all, of the facilities to suit less mobile visitors, although everyone is more than welcome to stay with us. It is rustic themed and located around 5 mls (8km) from the A1 and 3 (5km) from the M62 motorway, with good road/rail and bus links. All our guests have the full private use of the detached annexe during their stay.
