River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, smoking, and vaping are not allowed. The internet is fiber optic with good cell service for most providers. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Located close to I 64 and a short drive to Charlottesville and UVA, Richmond, wedding venues, Gordonsville, Orange, Monticello and Montpelier. The area is abundant in wineries and brewerys. Tear drop driveway is perfect for parking your boat trailer while visiting Lake Anna.

The Cottage at Fruit Hill is nestled between our peach and apple orchards on my family’s 12 acre farm. Take a stroll through the peach blossoms, pick from our sunflower patch, enjoy some private time in the orchards during the fall, and gaze at our Christmas lights display in December. This charming cottage was originally built in the 1940’s and has recently been updated to be as comfortable for our guests as possible. Come enjoy a peaceful getaway at the orchard!
