NEW! The Hilltop Station

Alexis McKeeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Excellent property, condition and price and we loved our stay. The house was very spacious with many beds, baths and gathering area. Two freight train passed by each day we were there. We could watch them from the deck and front porch and also the upper-level bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked, and the mountain view was great. The towels and linen were clean. The washer dryer was useful, particularly since it rained during our stay. The host was responsive, kind and thoughtful. The huge balcony is a great place to watch the night sky. It was on top of a hill, secluded, serene and was a perfect place for the purpose of my stay and to drive to either the Front Royal Entrance or the Thorton Gap Entrance of Skyline drive (about 20/30 minutes away respectively). Get supplies with you or from Front Royal. We used the grill located below the deck to grill some veggies.

The Cottage at the Barb Farm

A quaint cottage perfect for our family. Daybed and trundle perfect for the kids, and the creek outside a bonus for fun wading looking for tadpoles. House had everything we needed for the kitchen and bathroom, and comfortable couches! Close to great wineries and not a bad drive into Winchester!

Riverside Library - EV charger, Wifi, River access

JeffRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The property was exactly as described. The place was clean, secluded, lots of books, games, etc. It is quite a way from town, which wasn't an issue for us, but be prepared on your way in, lots of stuff closes fairly early and you might want to bring what you need for the first night, then go town the next day. The ride in is about 12 miles from the main road, 6 of which are gravel, narrow, and winding. The house is goreous and the view from the deck spectactlar. Plenty of windows and glass doors opening to the deck. There are neighbors, very nice people with a dog named Benny, our guy had fun playing with him, he is a very nice boy. If you have a dog, there are places to eat in or near Luray that have outdoor seating and are dog friendly, we ate with the dog at Big Meadows Lodge in the park. Very quiet there, you do hear some road and train noise from across the river but you would barely notice it. We loved our time there and would definitely go back. Thank you Sean and Laura.

Sleep in or take a morning hike! 12pm check out!

We had an amazing stay at Charlene’s place for a weekend golf trip with my brothers. The house was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of towels and essentials. Charlene was incredibly responsive and helpful, always answering any questions I had right away. The experience exceeded our expectations and made the whole trip even better. Highly recommend staying here—we’ll definitely be back!

Gorgeous cabin on Blue Ridge

JamieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a wonderful weekend in this sweet cabin! From before check in, until check out Flora made the whole experience easy and comfortable. There are so many thoughtful details throughout this property. Super clean and beautiful inside, but we spent most of our time enjoying the incredible deck. Our favorite part was that we could still sit outside in comfy seats and watch a thunderstorm while covered! Close to lots, but far from it all. We can’t wait to come back!

Great stay along the river! Even though there are other cabins around, still felt very private. Hot tub was excellent! Very thorough instructions and communication
