Where to even start! Cyril is an AMAZING host and such an extremely kind and joyous person to talk to! We had great communication with check in/out, as well as he gave us recommendations as to what to do nearby when our original plans fell through! The kitchen was fully stocked with fresh juice, jams, and butter, as well as breakfast delivered to us each morning! This has been my favorite airbnb stay of all time, and really made for such a local feel to our trip. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in AIX; my fiancé and I had such a great time and can’t recommend Cyril’s place enough!

We had a truly amazing stay at this accommodation and completely fell in love with the house, the garden, and the entire area. It’s located in a safe and quiet neighborhood in Marseille, and there are few places I’ve stayed where the reality is even more beautiful than the photos. It’s hard to put into words just how stunning the house and garden are. The home has been lovingly renovated, and you can really tell that every piece of furniture and detail was chosen with care and great taste. Each room has its own unique charm, the kitchen is modern and perfectly equipped for cooking, and the garden even has a small pool and shower where you can refresh. Penelope was a wonderful host – always available, incredibly helpful, and full of great local tips. If you appreciate thoughtful design, attention to detail, high-quality amenities, proximity to the sea, and cozy evenings in the garden, this is the perfect place for you.

We had a great time! The house is very pleasant to live in, bright and tastefully decorated, it is very well located: in a peaceful area, allowing you to spend the day at the old port to the north as well as in the creeks to the south. The sea view terrace (and the BBQ) is absolutely perfect for family evenings. Perfect communication with Michel and/or Raphaël who welcomed us. Check-out is just as smooth and easy as check-in. We will be back!

My family of 4 (myself, wife, two teenagers) absolutely loved staying in Anais' castle. The views were....stunning! It comes with a great pool that we really enjoyed when it got a bit hot (stayed during a June heatwave). The small hillside village has a few restaurants easily walkable to from the house. We loved the pizza place and the guy making pizzas was super awesome and friendly. The owner of the next door restaurant sold us soft drinks and wine even though he was technically closed. Really a friendly very small town atmosphere. We had a car, so lots to do in the surrounding villages. Anais was kind enough to provide a guide and we definitely took his suggestions. He was very responsive and provided excellent directions for finding this gem. maximin-la-sainte-baume is a small town about 5min away. There you can find groceries, coffee, shopping, etc. I fully recommend this place and Anais as a host!

An exceptional setting! How lucky to be able to spend the night in such an incredible place 😍 Very picturesque, decent comfort and above all a sublime view of the Mediterranean and Marseille, with small easy and quick access to the sea. We would have stayed longer! Thanks to Bruno for his welcome and recommendations, we ate very well at La Pergola in Niolon, 15 minutes' drive away. We'll be back!!!

We felt completely comfortable in the apartment. Everything is pleasantly simple and functional, without unnecessary decoration - exactly to our taste. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the quiet balcony, where we had breakfast in the morning in the sun and ended the day in the evening. The location is wonderfully quiet, beaches and the centre of Cassis are within walking distance – also ideal as a starting point for hikes in the Calanques. A place to stay where you'll be happy to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Alix’s flat in Aix-en-Provence! This was perhaps the most stunning rental we have stayed at out of dozens of them. The view from the Terrace absolutely cannot be beat and we ate outside multiple evenings listening to the occasional church bells and birds chirping. The size of the rental was just perfect for our family of 5. The rooms were clean and updated and the bathrooms really nice. The kitchen was sizable and updated and perfect for cooking several meals after picking up vegetables and meats from the nearby market. As other viewers have noted, you do have to climb four stories of steps. But it was extremely well worth it! There are several restaurants and a coffee shop just outside. If we come back to Aix we would definitely stay here again.

Spacious condo for my husband and myself, could easily accommodate more people. Tastefully decorated, nicely fitted closets and well equipped kitchen - new appliances. The balcony is large. As other guests have mentioned you do hear cars, but you are within walking distance of the main area without the noise of the bars, etc. Cross the road and dip your toes in the sea! It's a great spot to enjoy the sun

The view from the large balcony was wonderful!! We really enjoyed watching the boats come in and out of the old port in the sunshine. Great restaurants close by and within easy walking distance. A great place to stay, right in the middle of Marseille, we would definitely come again!

This small accommodation allows you to be close to Marseille while enjoying the quiet of a village. The small terrace is lovely. Possibility of taking the boat at L'Estaque to reach the heart of Marseille without a car. The accommodation is very clean and Gilles is very welcoming.

We were very warmly welcomed – Ms Agnes greeted us on arrival, her husband said goodbye to us on departure, that was very pleasant. The apartment was nice, clean and well appointed. Location is quiet, perfect for relaxing. It was particularly practical that we could park the car in the courtyard – this made loading and unloading much easier. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Great location! Easy walk to the city waterfront. Gated parking right at the complex. Jean-Luc was so nice and accommodating with check-in and check-out. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The view is phenomenal! We will definitely return! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great location for visiting Cassis. The apartment is well laid out, well equipped and very pleasant for a stay for two. The only problem is the bell tower of the nearby church that rings every hour even in the middle of the night and can annoy those who are not used to it and who like peace and quiet like us

It is perfect place to stay in Marseille, beautiful surroundings with beach nearby. Everything was clean. I would highlight the seating on balcony - very pleasant. There is bus station (10 minutes from apartment) from which you can go to the city centre.

Very nice centrally located apartment with great amenities. Although the apartment is right at the ferry port, it is pleasantly quiet in the apartment. Bonus points for the very comfortable bed. Manuel was always available and welcomed us warmly :)

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance of the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful swimming opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

Absolutely beautiful hideaway in a vibrant part of Marseille. Stylishly decorated with the most relaxing patio off the bedroom overlooking the rooftops. Would go back again in a second!
