Scorrodale yurt, Isle of Arran

AnnaRating, 5 stars13 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the yurts. The site is just beautiful (we loved all the animals!) and the nearby amenities (The Lagg Inn, the distillery etc) are fab! The yurt itself was really cute with a lovely outdoor fire pit area (with picnic bench and logs to sit on - bring your own folding chairs!). The little kitchen area was great and the bathroom was very clean with a fantastic hot/powerful shower! The double bed was super comfortable, the futons somewhat less so! Communication a bit slow at times but overall a wonderful stay!

Mongolian YURT in Stunning Highland setting.

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 day ago
My self and my wife LOVED our stay with Melanie in the stunning Yurt, it was so cosy and peaceful, the log burner was a special touch, such a friendly and informative host, letting us borrow her robes for a cold water dip before we went home on the Sunday morning, the breakfast Melanie made was fantastic, whisky porridge then my Avocado, salad poached egg and prosciutto on toasted sour dough bread, what a cook! You are doing a great job Mel, the only downside was we only stayed for the 1 night, we will definitely be back in the near future, great scenery, also great nature walks, all round a fabulous place to stay, 10 out of 10. Matthew and Claire.

Monamore Yurt, Isle of Arran

StephenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A stunning location and a lovely place to relax and spend some time away from it all. Each yurt is well equipped with everyday items such as cutlery etc. My yurt had full book shelves and a trunk full of toys and board games which is ideal for kids. The bed was comfortable and all appliances came with good and detailed instructions. The advertised description of the site is accurate. I’ve never been glamping before and I will definitely return.

Crannoch Yurt with private hot tub

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A very quiet and peaceful location with a nice setting over the pond. We enjoyed the hot tub, the BBQ and putting the fire on to get the yurt cosy before going to bed. It was exactly what we were looking for. The crannoch yurt was also super private so we really did have a peaceful and relaxing weekend away. Recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet retreat. Thank you Jamie for having us.

We had 4 nights in the yurt and loved the peaceful location and birdsong. The yurt was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We used the information provided for some local walks and enjoyed some excellent dining without having to drive far. Thank you Fiona and Paul for a lovely experience, definitely one we would repeat.

"Wych Elm" Deluxe Yurt at Marthrown of Mabie

VictoriaRating, 5 stars16 months ago
We were very excited to stay in a yurt and weren’t disappointed. The reviews which mention the warmth inside aren’t wrong; it is very toasty. We arrived in torrential rain so it felt like we were driving to the middle of nowhere but we found it with Mike’s instructions. He was there to greet us and go through the fire and where everything is. We had 4 beds and 1 bed is pulled out from underneath a single bed - that’s not what we were expecting but it didn’t matter. They’re comfy and clean. There is a lot provided in terms of cutlery, pans and tea/coffee. Everything you need is listed by Pam once you book. We had the hot tub booked but it broke the day before we arrived with the frost. We were gutted but still got to use the sauna. I’d recommend that just to experience the cold water bucket outside. Just do it. The shower is really hot and a nice experience over looking the hills. The composting toilet is a composting toilet…get used to is. There are lots of nearby walks to explore.

Hazelnut Yurt, two miles from Loch Ken, Galloway

LeoRating, 5 stars22 months ago
This was the most wonderful Air BnB experience me and my Girlfriend has ever had. The Yurt itself was such a romantic and peaceful place to lay low for a few days. The log fire made it such a cosy space but without it you would feel like you are camping which was a nice feeling to have. All the cooking amenities were perfect and could cook some simple but tastey meals. Although I think the main thing that really made us feel so at peace was the location. Located in the middle of what felt like a perfectly crafted part of the forest with the burn running by the side. You are left alone there to enjoy the nature and its made to feel like it is yours for you time there. I couldn't reccomend staying here more. Also thank you Gordy and Suzy for allowing us in this amazing space and creating such a wonderful yurt. Will definitely be back. Leo and Lily x

Beinn Shieldaig Yurt

DarronRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely loved the Yurt and the location. Absolutely nothing to fault other than the usual Scottish weather but didn't dampen our stay. Had everything you need. Lovely peaceful space toped off with a great log fire to keep you warm during the night. Go easy on the logs, it gets toasty!! You may get a visit from the sheep dogs which is cool, they love belly rubs! Pack midge repellent, and thank me later 😂 Kenneth and Lisa were great hosts, replied quickly if needing anything. Lovely to chat to as well.

Larch Yurt

FraserRating, 5 stars13 months ago
In a world saturated with log cabins, shepherds huts, teepees, summer houses and yurts - choose Jenny’s. Beautifully crafted Larch Yurt, intricate attention to detail and a peaceful portion of paradise. Thank you for sharing your place with us. So much to see on the Black Isle and what a place to lay our heads, roam around the site in, clamber down to the beach, and listen to radio wildlife and watch the animals cavort around.

Ruth's Yurt

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely love Ruth’s Yurt! Such an incredibly peaceful and beautiful place! Views out to the hills, and the coast and sea are stunning from the door! So quiet… apart from wind in the trees nearby, birdsong all day, and the occasional snort from happy horses in the paddock! The yurt is very welcoming, and homely and cosy! Super comfy bed… and all furnishings, cushions, throws, lighting, sheepskins etc make it all feel very relaxing and comfortable! Wood burner is a work of art in its own right… and easy to use, lights up really fast and warms everything in no time! Planning next visit already!
