Hiking trails are right in front of the apartment, for example, they will lead to the Waldbach waterfall. In 25 minutes you can reach the Säntis or the seven Churfirsten as well as Thurwasser Falls by car. There is space for your car as well as bicycles.

Zudem gibt es noch ein altes Herrenhaus mit 3 DZ und 1 EZ und Ferienwohnungen auf der anderen Strassenseite. Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the Silvesterchläuse, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a nice place to sit, directly on the Urnäsch (stream) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the 1970s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, in the other part of the house (private entrance) my parents live, but this does not affect you.
