In summer, it is an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours (several reservoirs and swimming lakes nearby) and in winter due to the altitude (one of the highest places in the Vogtland) snow-sure access to the Kammloipe (trail behind the house in the forest)...

A generous common area awaits you with views of the countryside, a fireplace, a long table for shared breakfasts and dinners, a sauna (from 09/2026), and two separate bedrooms. The sleeping area for two people can be reached via a comfortable ladder staircase. There is a small wood-burning stove that heats the hut, is used as a stove and spreads comfort. Direct parking on the property. There is another cabin on the property that also occasionally accommodates guests.

The Blickinsfreie is an old accordion factory on the edge of the forest, which we lovingly and very individually renovated from 2015-2017. Surrounded by the forests of the upper Vogtland, not far from the Czech beer, you can retreat with friends or alone to get away from it all. Slowing down as you can't experience it better.
