House holiday rentals in Schmallenberg

My girls and I just wanted to escape everyday life for a weekend and relax. Laureen's house was perfect for this. We were warmly welcomed and everything was shown and explained to us (whirlpool). The house is cozy and modernly furnished. We felt right at home. The recommended restaurants were also great. So, if you just want to let your mind wander, you've come to the right place with Laureen 🙂

We were already in the accommodation a year ago. Nothing has changed our impression: Great apartment with a lot of comfort, the surroundings are fantastic. Ilona was again a very good and pleasant hostess. Furthermore, an absolute recommendation!

A very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit remote, it is an excellent place to relax, especially thanks to the wellness area.

The Stranzenburg is a super cool and extraordinary location. In addition to the flair of the 15th-18th century, a neighbouring property with a bathing pond, charcoal grill, etc. is also available. We were here with a group of friends and were able to spend an exciting weekend; our crime thriller dinner planned for the holiday also found the perfect location as a setting here! Ursula was always very easy to reach as a landlady and is also a great contact person. The cake that was baked and ready for the handover of the AirBnB by Ursula was also super delicious. We can therefore recommend the accommodation to anyone who is looking for something unusual and wants to experience a special flair of the accommodation :-)

We were in this beautiful holiday home for an extended weekend with 13 people. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and above all the children were super satisfied and could play in the beautiful garden with the toys. The stream was a particular highlight. We will be happy to come back.

Quiet Lge to relax

We arrived by car, felt right at home after arrival and slept great. The area was pleasantly quiet, there were many attractions for children/families and great opportunities for food, coffee, cake and ice cream. The hosts were very warm and professional. We will be happy to come back.

The house was as described. The communication in advance was great, we already knew exactly what to expect. Check-in went smoothly. The play barn and game room were also very appealing for us. In the area you could do a lot of business, also here there was information in advance. Lots of options for sitting outside. In short, we felt comfortable at the place and can recommend it.

It's our first stay in this great cottage. There is nothing missing and we were very impressed by the friendly welcome for people and animals and immediately felt at home. Everything is very well maintained and clean. Our landlords were always available for us and very friendly. The location is awesome, especially for us city people it was a highlight to wake up /have breakfast. Here you can find peace and time to slow down. We took many hikes in the area with our dogs and will certainly not have been here for the last time.

Beautiful house, beautiful location

The communication with Olga was excellent from the beginning. She responded within a very short time and answered any questions. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Everything was available and functional, which is described as available. The covered terrace invites you to relax, play board games or barbecue. Some hikes can be started from the apartment. A few meters away is a small supermarket where the fresh rolls taste excellent. The only drawback: The apartment is right on the "main road" which was partly a bit noisy in the morning. We would definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed our time in Hoheleye. It is a cozy home, perfect is you want to wind down. The people are really guest friendly and the fireplace is absolutely amazing. I would really recommend it!

I travel a lot with AIR BNB privately and for business at home and abroad. This was really the most professional place I've ever rented. Everything available, there remained nothing to be desired. Welcome beers, water, modern coffee maker nespresso, everything where you can expect it. DAZN on TV , state-of-the-art equipment, flame newly renovated. Simply 5/5 stars. Even a high-ranking Karen would find something to complain about here. Thank you for everything.

Very clean, good opportunities to sit, eat, grill, play, etc. indoors and outdoors with many people. Beautiful play corner in front of the house for small children. From the house you can walk directly and find nice hikes in the area. Communication impeccable. One shortcoming in the house was the kitchen equipment. For example, in the two apartments, we lacked wine glasses, there were no large bowls.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The location is perfect, the rooms are clean and cozy, and the service is excellent. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and helpful nature of the hostess Verena, who even took care of getting our forgotten sweater back – and then sent it to us. Such an extraordinary service naturally makes the stay even more beautiful.;) We can only highly recommend this accommodation and will gladly come back!

As if you were coming to your own vacation home! Lovable and prompt contact with the landlords, extremely cozy and equipped with everything you can think of, opportunities to buy food/wood at extremely fair prices. We hiked directly from the house to Lake Edersee, etc., quaint forests with oaks and beeches, great! In the morning, a sunrise over the green hills in swaths of fog, which can be seen from bed. The large, well-divided site with fireplace and good forest sauna, swing etc. offered more than we could use in the short time! We will be back! Thank you Martina & Michael!

We had a great stay. Furnishings are beautiful and everything is of good quality. Very dog friendly. Pleasant host.

The place was in a very quiet place as expected and highly recommended for a relaxing holiday. The property is on a steep path (ski facility) that leads to other places where it also goes up and down. The host was really always very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our vacation there and can only recommend the accommodation.

This was a perfect stay for my husband and I, his two grow-up boys and our daughter in law. It was so peaceful and serene and we had lots of space to relax and work remotely as well. The internet was fantastic for my meetings. We were a short drive to Mohnesee Dam an Korbecke (where my husband was born 57 years ago). A wonderful place to relive those early years!

Everything was perfect, the hostess was very responsive and created very comfortable conditions with a gorgeous view of the lake, we felt at home, the reality exceeded expectations and special thanks for the compliment in the form of flowers, fruits and sweets. I recommend it 100%!

Smooth and clear communication, friendly reception by the host. The house was really great for staying with a few friends in a quiet area. The attached garage is a nice addition for storing our motorcycles, we could easily store 5 bikes here. Recommended!

Great beautifully renovated accommodation, really well equipped for families with children, great location with great playground next door and cowshed around the corner, where the children could run to themselves. We were there with two families with a total of 5 small children. Super lovely hostess who provided us with extra bed linen and chairs and always responds quickly to messages. Thank you Carolin!

Karin was very quick to respond to messages and was extremely helpful. The house was beautiful, warm, had more than enough space for eight people and was equipped with all the utensils imaginable. The coin-operated machine in the sauna sometimes didn't work, but the problem then solved itself. There are several beautiful hiking trails in the area and a beautiful small lake (swimming there is prohibited, however). Overall, I can safely say that we would be back.

The house is simply beautiful, we were there for the 2nd time. Great location, great amenities, large table with cozy bench, two complete and very clean bathrooms, everything in the kitchen you need, fly nets in front of the windows, cozy sofa corner, quiet terrace, and all very stylishly furnished! Great house!
