Die Ski- und Wandergebiete im Thüringer Wald (Oberhof mit internationalen Wettkampfstätten, Downhill mit Lift und Schmiedefeld) sind mit dem PKW in 20- 30 min. und auch mit öffentl. Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar.

My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau, directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads you to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Ratscher mountain lake. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days.
