Unser Haus ist auf der Insel Schouwen-Duiveland mit der Hauptstadt Zierikzee. Die Insel ist mit Dämmen und Brücken zum Festland verbunden. Man kann zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit mit dem Auto anreisen. Es ist keine Fähre erforderlich. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf. Einen Fahrradverleih gibt es im 1,5 km entfernten Nachbarort. Fußläufig sind mehrere Restaurationen erreichbar. Es fällt keine Kurtaxe an. (El-Ladestation für PKW fußläufig 2 Min.)
