Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Savigné

We had a wonderful 4-day stay in Angoulême. The accommodation was impeccable, impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. A real pleasure to settle in and enjoy the comfort offered. Tiffany, the owner, was very kind and very accommodating for the arrival and departure schedule, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We sincerely thank her and would highly recommend her place!

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

it was lovely to arrive at such a wonderful place, lots of room to walk the dog, beautiful wildlife, very friendly goats. Chauvigny great for food and coffee.

Marine is a nice person, although we did not see each other, but I did not find the wifi code, but we only stayed for one night. All good😊👍. Friendly setting.

We were very well hosted by Magali. The house matches the photos and description. Among other things, we appreciated: The provision of a cot, bathtub and high chair Provision of the barbecue The PMR room for the group's grandpa And of course communication with Magali from the reservation to the departure We'll be happy to go back!

Sylvie's accommodation is very spacious and quiet and was therefore perfect for our family trip. Sylvie is a very warm hostess and brought us a delicious breakfast😌.

We had a great stay at Frédérique's. The place was very clean, functional, and quiet. We enjoyed the small garden, to rest there in the evening on our return. In addition, there is a small private car park in front of the accommodation.

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

We were very well received by Frederik and Ton! (and their Beagles!) Their house is very beautiful, with charm and very well equipped, comfortable bedding. The garden is huge! Our only regret: not staying longer! :-) Blandine and Ronan

We had a very pleasant stay, the accommodation is peaceful and faithful to the description. Jean-Pierre and Cécile are very welcoming and very helpful. I recommend it.

Julian’s place was most peaceful and relaxing. We stayed a week but could have stayed longer. We had all the amenities we wanted and feel that the gite is very good value for money. The weather was unseasonably cool, but we still enjoyed swimming in the unheated pool. There are two outdoor spaces which we used each day. For cooler weather there is a substantial wood burner.

beautiful peaceful place accompanied by the croaking of frogs and the jumps of carp... a treat... the spa with a sweltering heat a real delight... on the other hand, disappointed not to be able to lock the door, the sofa really not comfortable even if we spent our time outside the chalet, the duvet with a lot of stains...without these small downsides, the stay was idyllic, the region is waiting to be discovered!!! very discreet and welcoming owners

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The house provided us with everything we needed! It was very cosy, nicely decorated and clean! All kinds of equipment to cook, basics such as coffee and milk and other snacks and drinks were also available upon our arrival, we felt so welcome! The message on the blackboard was heart-warming;-). There were all kinds of extras such as a whole collection of DVDs and books, toys for kids all ages, ... The pool was magnificent, just big enough for a refreshing dive or just having fun in the water. The garden was also very nice, well equipped (and safe for kids!), the patio next to the barn very cosy and relaxing! Last but not least, I would like to give a special thanks to Lesley, the lovely house keeper, who provided us with everything we needed (and quickly!), she made us feel very welcome. We have stayed in some amazing places in our time, but this has to be the most beautiful, stunning, amazing place we have ever been to. Diana was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. We will remember this holiday for the rest of our lives, the gites were just perfect, the area was outstanding, we loved every moment and didn’t want to come home! The bed was phenomenal and a real treat as we only have a double at home….we were in sheer luxury!! What a pleasant surprise, better than the photos and comments. Nothing is missing, even your 1st meal is in the fridge! You feel really good at the Grange aux livres, there are a lot of nice details that you will discover over the days... Sophie is very welcoming, human and caring. One of our most beautiful Airbnb experiences, a little heartache when leaving this beautiful and peaceful place. Don't hesitate if you are looking for peace, the countryside and the birdsong.

We had a great weekend at Guillaume's! A beautiful place filled with greenery accompanied by the calm and the singing of birds. The swans, duck, hedgehogs, birds accompanied us throughout our stay, very kind hosts! I highly recommend it for lovers and respectful of nature, and enjoy a little fishing at the same time. The rental is comfortable. We'll be happy to come back.

Lovely place for a family holiday! They have great amenities like the heated pool, hot tub, ping pong table, badminton and a free tennis court. We spent 7 days a 6 nights there with 6 people and our little dog and really would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a quiet, peaceful holiday in the south of France.

We stayed several weeks for professional reasons and thank Pauline for her responsiveness and availability. Discreet, but present at the same time. The cottage is very clean functional and as described. We recommend a short stop in this renovated house.
