Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Savegre de Aguirre

This place was perfect for us, two adults and two kids (12 and 9 yrs old). We had originally planned on staying at another place higher on the hill until we realized the road to get there was insanely steep and challenging to navigate, especially during the rainy season. Eric’s place was easy to get to, with a friendly security guard monitoring traffic into the neighborhood. The view was AMAZING, the beds were comfy and the pool was clean and refreshing. Great location for exploring other beaches and the towns of Dominical and Uvita and an easy 1.25 hr drive south to Sierpe for a mangrove boat tour (which was awesome) or to access Corcovado NP. Eric and Fabiola were wonderful and very helpful hosts. First-timer advice: if you’re renting a car, go with a smaller 4x4, we got a Hyundai Kona. Barely fits our luggage, but easy to navigate on narrow Costa Rican roads and small parking spaces.

We had a wonderful time The house is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. It was wonderful to enjoy nature from the terrace, the view was phenomenal. It is true that you need a 4x4 to get there, but that also ensures that once you have arrived you can enjoy absolute privacy and tranquility!

Don't miss the experience of living in this house!!! Surrounded by nature, with an INCREDIBLE view that allows you from above to contemplate the Pacific and its sunsets, even from the bathtub. Drinking coconut water that the palm trees give you, enjoy fluttering of endless varieties of butterflies, the morning singing of the toucans or immerse yourself in the deafening sea of chicharras. Jadeleen's house is ALL that's fine!!!!

Truly a stunning home in a very quiet, upscale cul-de-sac community. Views were breathtaking, and the home well-equipped for lazy days without big agendas. Dominical is cute and inviting, with plenty to eat and a solid infrastructure for booking adventures of multiple varieties. Sensitive travelers might want to be advised that power and water outages are part of the realities of living in such a gorgeous, remote location. Mattresses are quite firm, with the loft bed probably best suited to a child or other floor-friendly individual. Kitchen was not particularly well-appointed, so bring oil/butter and perhaps even a favorite chef's knife if you plan to cook in. Local farmer's markets do make this an appealing option, although local restaurants were generally quite decent, even coming from NYC. Above all, this is a truly impressive holiday experience, mainly for the incredible views from all floors and the abundance of wildlife right in your own back-yard. Highly recommended.

Like so many others have said, do not hesitate to book this! This destination is absolute paradise and the villa was fully equipped to make our vacation perfect. Perry, Paola and Flory are the most gracious hosts and provided a luxurious stay. Flory's breakfast is a must as well as dinner at the Supper Club. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds are very comfortable, the shampoo and conditioner provided are delightful. The beach is endless and the sunsets are magical. The pool was refreshing and the pool basketball hoop was a huge hit with our boys. We can't thank you enough for the special memories made at your villa!

Stunning location. Comfortable home has everything you need. we loved it!

Our family of four, parents and two teens (16 and 14), loved it! The house and property are beautiful, lots of space indoors and out, unique decor, comfortable king-size beds, views of the ocean especially from the balcony, and an awesome swimming pool! The kitchen had extras of everything. The caretaker Nani lives on site in a separate building and was very responsive. The house is surrounded by nature and very peaceful. We saw green parrots and toucans and other birds, and many butterflies. The frogs/crickets ? are very loud in the morning and evening. We saw cows grazing on a neighbouring property. Living in nature means there are bugs (and geckos), some of them pretty big ones, and sometimes they get in the house, so be prepared! You absolutely need a 4x4 to get here; we rented an automatic Hyundai Tucson and we had to use the shiftronic manual 1st gear to get up parts of the road (which was dry) once we left the main highway. We hope to return one day, thanks Susan!

Really unique stay - group of apartments surrounding a common bar/pool area on a hillside in Quepos. More like a hotel than an air bnb. Initially we were panicked by the steep drive and seemingly isolated location, but actually it is within walking distance of the marina, quepos town and the farmers market. The nature of manuel Antonio means transport is necessary to get around so ensure you have a car or are happy to get taxis/buses. The views are fabulous and we saw so much wildlife from our balcony. The family, Saul and sandy were all so welcoming and helpful, gave us good food recommendations and provided a taxi service. Marta organised a guide for Manuel Antonio and Henry was fantastic, we had an amazing day with him. We didn’t have any food here but the cocktails were 10/10.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The spaces is beautiful and centrally located while feeling tucked away. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. We really loved watching the sunrise from the tower that overlooks the mountains down to the beach, it is worth the early alarm on vacation! Jason was super helpful and gave us great advice for navigating Manuel Antonio and avoiding common pitfalls, thank you!

What an absolutely incredible experience staying at Nathalie’s Airbnb! Waking up in the morning to the sound of jungle with the cicadas, birds chirping, and howler monkeys + the most stunning view of the jungle was unreal! I also loved swimming in the pool as the squirrel monkeys iguanas and birds hang around it was SO cool- It was one of my favorite memories from our trip to Costa Rica! It was by far my favorite place we stayed and I really appreciated the in-depth detail of instructions she laid out for us! Also there was the CUTEST dog that hung out with us at the pool all day and we will miss him so much! We truly felt at home and loved the location to town as well :)

We had a really lovely stay! The place was clean, modern, and exactly as described. The pool was a highlight—absolutely beautiful and surprisingly quiet, which made it perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed having a balcony to sit out on in the evenings. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay to visit all that Manuel Antonio has on offer, close to restaurants, supermarkets and bus very convenient for beach and national park. Yosue was especially helpful and communicative ☺️

Nice house, beautiful garden and swimming pool, very friendly staff. The only downside is that to get to the house it is super steep up and also with a sharp bend. if you do not have 4x4 it is difficult to go up.

Melvin is a great host - super friendly and helpful. He met us early to help us drop our bags off and always communicated quickly. The place is clean and comfortable with a kitchen we could cook in. The balcony was great - we sat outside in the evening and observed the sloth in the tree right outside. Highly recommend for a couple looking to stay in Manuel Antonio.

Surpassed all our expectations. We felt so fortunate to stay at this location. We arrived later than planned - near dark - and hadn’t eaten but not fun to drive unfamiliar locations in Costa Rica after dark so we just walked down the road a few hundred feet to the neighboring restaurant which was good. Sleeping was comfortable. Woke up early and looked out bedroom window and saw a monkey! Then enjoyed a squirrel monkey show in the yard and our three kids were so excited to watch 20-30 monkeys running all over. Kids enjoyed the pool for a while and I watched the macaws. It is such a peaceful and beautiful location. Close to the park so we were able to make an early morning trip before we left and hosts were extra accommodating to allow us to store or luggage safely until we returned midday. Super convenient for park trip. Hosts were kind and responsive and live in the house on the same property. I’m sure they are fun to interact with but our schedules didn’t align much.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. We were celebrating a momentous occasion, and the host left a delicious bottle of champagne along with fresh fruit. This was such a special touch and helped to make our stay even that much more enjoyable. The place was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The beach view was the wonderful cherry on top! The host was very responsive to all of my questions and inquiries. I definitely recommend this Airbnb to others, as it was a lovely experience for us. Sending a big thanks to the host!

Perfect location between Emilio's Cafe and Hotel Mariposa. We walked to every fantastic meal we enjoyed. Loved the pool and the monkeys. Host's assistant Hector was very helpful and responsive. Thank you!!

We loved the place! Great location and has such an amazing view!! A very cute place. If we come back to this area we would def want to stay here again!

Leonardo was friendly and responsive and made check in process a breeze. Location is a 10/10, with easy access to beach and pool area, as well as walking distance to great restaurants and a local market. Highlight of our trip was seeing a sloth hanging in the trees on the beach! Would definitely choose to stay here again.

What a great place and better host! Marcos apartment is about a 7 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores and an easy 15 min drive to the national park. Marco and his family had plenty of tips and recommendations for our stay. We’d be happy to stay again if we find ourselves back in Quepos!
