Beautiful off the beaten path home next to the beach. House was beautiful with air conditioning that helped on the hot and humid days. Beach was just across the street which was nice though rip tides were possible so had to swim during certain times of the day to avoid them. Jefferson was always responsive with anything we needed and even offered to do laundry for a small fee which was nice and convenient.

this house is magically peaceful. You can walk all over Uvita from this location . You can hear the river from the house and sit by or in it in a few steps!

Fer was very responsive and helped with any and all questions we had during our stay. The small private pool in the back was the perfect size for a relaxing swim and felt like it's own paradise surrounded by plants and we were lucky enough to have a huge family of monkeys above as we swam. The house itself was perfect for our family of 4 and had some games, wifi and Netflix. Great stay!

Juan was very helpful and responsive. The place was clean and had everything we needed, a really lovely place to stay.

Cindy was very friendly and helpful at all times. The house is just as it is in the photographs and is pet friendly, a benefit for those we always walk with our pets. The condominium is very safe and quiet.

It’s hard to sum up my feelings about this place. It was so special and wonderful. It’s hard to describe. I also hesitate about giving it so much praise because I worry that next time I want to book it it’ll be full! The place was perfect. It was right on a private beach at the end of a private road. The water was a perfect temperature. The sand was soft. The ground Keeper was so friendly and very helpful. He was very kind to my kids and we felt right at home! Also a huge added bonus were his dogs. My kids miss our dogs when we travel and they were thrilled to find dogs here waiting for us when we arrived. There were limitless activities for us to do. We could lay around on the beach or swim in the pool or do excursions that were close by. This part of Costa Rica is extremely beautiful! I would stay in a place like this over a resort any day.

The place was just perfect for us. It was the best place we had in all of Costa Rica! Getting there was no problem for us. Lori's Google Maps took us directly to the property. Yes, you need a four-wheel drive vehicle with appropriate ground clearance to master the path, but compared to other paths I still drove, this one was a breeze here. We loved the open concept of the house. Since the bedrooms are closed and only the living area is open, we had felt totally safe at night and could just enjoy nature and the insanely great view during the day. The entire concept of the house is very well thought out. Even when it rained, it didn't bother us in the least. Lori was the perfect host. Always friendly and trying to make sure we are well and totally reserved and respectful. Simply wonderful. Thank you dear Lori! We will definitely recommend this place.

The homes were spotless. Very clean and well equipped. It's beautiful instead. You see birds and in the afternoon in the farthest se son monitos. The only negative thing I could say is that the place is a bit alone and that there is not like a mesh that privatizes the entrance to the house, but in reality I totally recommend it. Don Carlos and his family, who help in the house are also very friendly

We loved staying here! I’ve been to a lot of Air B@Bs and this was my favorite. The house is updated and has air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The view is amazing. This place is located in between uvita and Quepose so it was about a 35 minute drive to both. Taryn was an excellent host who was friendly and helpful.

Excellent lodging! I stayed with my mother and a friend in addition to my 2 dogs! It is a closed and safe place for them! We all find it in order, it's a very spacious house! 500m to the beach! There is a supermarket nearby! I'd be back

This place was cozy and relaxing. A nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city while still being close. it felt like a private resort and the pool was well maintained. welved all the nature and plants around the Casita.

Incredible views and surroundings. The sounds of the jungle were AMAZING! Everything was so clean and pristine with nice furnishings and bedding! We loved our experience and would stay again when traveling to Uvita!

Very nice, spacious house, great and very well-kept pool, private washing machine and dryer, large covered parking, large living room, two large bathrooms. We were able to watch many red macaws right on the tree in front of the seat every day. Everything was a great fit.

The apartment located on the 5th floor has a magnificent ocean view. It has everything you need to spend a few days relaxing. Between the possible we will come back and recommend it to other users.

We loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed for longer. The setting is ideal, the mesh screen walls make you feel like you’re camping out in the jungle but with all the creature comforts of being ‘at home’. Wouter is a great host, friendly, kind & helpful & even gave us a lift down to the beach. If you haven’t got a car it’s still doable, Uber works here and Wouter also gave us taxi nos. So don’t worry if you’ve not got wheels, this is still a perfect option!

This jungle paradise is special. You’re truly nestled within nature and you’ll never forget the visits from the monkeys. The property overall is beautiful with a view of the jungle/ocean in the distance and it’s only a couple of minutes to get down to the main road. I’d highly recommend this place for a one of a kind stay in Uvita!

Before I dive into how wonderful this home is, here’s a tip: rent a 4x4 vehicle for your stay. The house is located up a mountain, and Ubers are extremely expensive—$30–$35 just to get to the base of the mountain, and up to $80 one way to visit the nearby waterfalls. Planning ahead will save you a lot of money and give you more freedom to explore. Now, about the house—it’s absolutely stunning. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, it truly felt like a luxury retreat. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nothing was overlooked. The bedrooms are cozy and serene, with super soft sheets and very comfortable beds—we all slept soundly every night. The bathrooms are large, featuring double sinks, walk-in closets, and showers designed to feel like you’re bathing outdoors—with views even from the shower! If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean, & peaceful home with jaw-dropping views, your search is over!

The house is exactly like the photographs. It has all the amenities in the description. Before we arrived, the response from the host and co-host was quite quick, they helped us with all the inquiries and requests made. Upon arrival we had a very nice surprise of a bottle of wine with a chocolate. I took my dog since the house is completely closed so it is perfect for carrying pets. The lighting of the pool and terrace is very nice and makes a very pleasant atmosphere.

Great location, the beach is at front and with great access walking. The pool has a good size and the house is very well equipped.

Love the place. The host helped arrange a car rental which you must have to get to the place. We used an uber a couple of times - although the uber couldn’t get all the way to the place.

The views were breathtaking, the amenities were thoughtful, and the energy of the space was pure peace. The location is ideal — close to Uvita, Dominical, Bahía Ballena, and Ojochal — with hidden beaches, waterfalls, and delicious restaurants just minutes away. Whether we were relaxing in the hammock, cooking dinner with a view, or exploring the area, this home was the perfect sanctuary to return to each day. The hosts were warm, responsive, and made us feel right at home. We are leaving with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish forever. Highly, highly recommended — this place is magic. We’ll be back!

Would rent here again without hesitation! The location is great. We loved being close to town and things to do but still having all the jungle vibes! We saw lots of monkeys right in the back yard! Alex and Glen were both very friendly. We also did the mangrove Kayak tour with Alex & Goldie (his pup)! Would highly recommend that tour! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!
