Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in São Miguel Island

We had a wonderful time at this place in São Miguel! The location was perfect, quiet yet easily accessible to explore the island. The highlight was definitely the hot tub – after a day of adventure, we were able to really relax there and enjoy the sunset. The apartment was very clean, stylishly furnished and had everything we needed. We would come back anytime – an absolute recommendation for anyone looking for rest and comfort!

Beautiful location. Sea view. Big sliding glass doors and wonderful black out blinds. Brilliant shower. Gualter and his wife were perfect hosts, helping with local convenient car hire and taxi too. Always there to help make the trip smooth and special. Great hosts, great apartment, great location. There are sea water swimming pools within 5 minutes walk! We loved this.

Beautiful place, the pool was wonderful. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Our air conditioning broke and the receptionist did her best to troubleshoot the remotes to get it going again but was not able to. That was never resolved but she did bring us a fan she was able to find and we only stayed one night anyway. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable and the patio was nice to have too.

We had a delightful stay at your place, and we’re so grateful for your warm hospitality and quick responses. The apartment itself felt like a dream home: spacious, warm, and full of light. We particularly loved the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a breeze and enjoyable. The proximity to the ocean and the lovely terrace were fantastic. Additionally, the grounds of the complex were expansive and lush, which we really enjoyed. A special thank you for the regular cleaning service and the thoughtful treats provided by the hosts, which made us feel extra welcome. Just a couple of small notes for future improvements: there’s a slight musty smell, particularly around items stored under the bed that might need airing out. Also, the water in the shower takes a while to heat up and the pressure drops after a few minutes, requiring a bit of waiting. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we look forward to the opportunity to visit again. Thank you so much!

Apartment is really spacious! Nice to have a covered parking space. We had a rental car and found it very easy to drive from the condo to anywhere on the island, including many trips to downtown Ponta Delgada.

Everything is great! The place is wonderful and super spacious. The super responsive host and responds at the moment if you have any questions. Everything is perfect. If I went back I would definitely choose this place again.

Very centrally located apartment, nice pizzeria just across the street (sometimes a bit of late evening noise). Pristine, spacious and well-stocked apartment, nice beds and efficient air condition. 2nd floor, no elevator. Very well-stocked with useful appliances, drying rack, electric sockets. Definitely recommended.

Paula’s condo was absolutely perfect, and I did not want to leave! Located in a secure condo complex with locked gates and secure, private parking. The condo itself is a dream; sunny, functional kitchen, three bedrooms with very comfy pillows and mattresses, two large and luxurious bathrooms. We really appreciated having a washer/dryer and dishwasher at our disposal as we travel with two grubby, hungry little boys! There’s a beautiful beach just down the street—very walkable—and a couple of decent restaurants as well. It’s a great jumping-off point for the whole island as it’s very centrally located. I hope we will be back! Paula is a gracious host and we enjoyed meeting her. Also, she has amazing taste in decor—the condo is beautifully styled.

We loved our stay at Kurt and Mitch's Airbnb - a peaceful beautiful location in the east part of the Azores. The care in design, very well appointed, special touches (like robes), and the kitchen was full stocked - they had everything we needed and then some! Great beds, sheets, and well, can't say enough on how much we enjoyed staying at their spot. So quiet which is what we wanted. The communication was seamless. Highly recommend staying here and we hoped to again!

We had a great stay, the location is ideal, close to all restaurants and bars and free parking for the car. The house offers everything you need if you want to cook for yourself or hang out in the garden. Would recommend!
