Mini wooden house between Santa Vittoria in Matenano and Montefalcone (Province of Fermo, Marche).
“Highly recommended, thanks Giovanni! My two friends and I have decided to spend the New Year here, in this place a little lost in nature. Giovanni lives right next door but there was very little and so we had a stay practically "ours" and we loved it. We were able to put on music without any kind of problem and we were greeted with a big smile by Giovanni, a young man, very hospitable. He welcomed us and showed us the house which, to our surprise, was even more beautiful live. Constantly heated, with an excellent kitchen, delicious coffee, fresh drinking water, the parquet and the creaking of the wooden stairs, the chandelier in the particular room, the bathroom with well-managed spaces ... everything was perfect. Not to mention the table outside, which was already gorgeous from the photos. In short, we had a great time. Also, in the morning, we found breakfast outside the door: fresh milk and two large slices of cake (probably from the oven) that really made us start the day. The only note, if we really want to find it, was to have only the small towels and not the bigger ones to take a shower and the little toilet paper. But they are still small inaccuracies since Giovanni kept specifying that whatever we needed we could contact him or take him from us in his apartment.”
“Marco's place is lovely and comfortable, with very spacious bathroom and bedroom. We had a very brief overnight stay and Marco was great, accepting our booking very last minute even though we arrived quite late at night as we weren't meant to be in the area. The apartment is very nicely done up and everything was clean and welcoming. Unfortunately we had unseasonably rainy and chilly weather and Marco very kindly put up the heating to help us thaw ;-) We also couldn't take advantage of the lovely views and outside terrace but I'm sure they'd be great to enjoy in the sunnier warmer weather. Great value.”
We are in the south of the Marche near Fermo and Ascoli Piceno, among the olive trees and the organic vineyard of Casale Biancopecora of Massimo and Michela, a structure completely retrieved with principles of bio building and anti-seismic, the sight of the eye in the marvelous The countryside of central Italy and the Sibillini Mountains. Just 27 km from the sea of Porto San Giorgio. The apartments have been restored using the old original materials of the house with all the modern comforts.
“Fantastico! Un posto stupendo! I am very familiar with the region and specifically with this area. Michela and Massimo's place is an absolute gem. The view from the bedroom alone is worth it, when you wake up in the morning. They are the nicest people and you will feel very relaxed the moment you arrive. They have good taste and that is reflected in how they have finished their apartment. A place like this is rare in the region, that I know. It may seem a little inland but it's really not that much further than most of the hot spots closer to the Adriatic. The bonus is the close view of the mountains and that clean crisp healthy air. You could almost survive on it! I bet anyone who had stayed still dreams days after of this secret getaway.”
