Great stay, super cute place, everything as described.. Snacks and bottles of water were included which was a nice surprise. Very quiet. I highly recommend James studio.

We had an amazing stay here! The house is very cute with a relaxing ambiance. It’s very clean and comfortable. The fridge was well stocked with a variety of drinks, which was a unique and really nice surprise that we appreciated. We absolutely loved being able to make coffee and drink it outside in the patio in the mornings. The landscaping was beautiful and there’s so much to do in the area! We actually got engaged on this trip. Would definitely recommend staying here to our friends/family!!

Darling place with a beautiful garden. Walking distance to Montecito shops and restaurants. And to butterfly beach! Krista and Brad had all the amenities we needed. The house is old but kept up well. Bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. Lots of nice light and the garden is private and gives the feeling of extra space with beautiful plants and fruit trees. Krista and Brad were all very responsive in all my questions and flexible with our schedules. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very pleased with my recent stay at The Channel Islands Beach Retreat. As soon as I entered the property I felt like I was in a secret garden oasis. Absolutely loved all the amenities and comfort of the home. The beds were a dream! I slept so well. I hope to stay here again in the future because I was so impressed! It’s a cute little studio that’s attached to the house, and has great view.

We were in town for a wedding for the weekend and this spot was perfect for us. We are a family of 5, we had a ton of space to relax in. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and water in the refrigerator which is really nice. There was also a delicious party to enjoy with our coffee the next morning. The property was absolutely beautiful as well. Highly recommend.

We were in town for UCSB College Graduation and the original home we rented on VRBO (13 months in advance) cancelled on us. Enter AirBnB and Matt and Robin's Shoreline Retreat. Location was fantastic (quiet neighborhood, walkable to water and into downtown SB). House was perfect - clean, not cluttered, and had unexpected "extras" such as toothbrush/toothpaste, laundry detergent, wine and snacks. Backyard grill... lots of spices and salt/pepper to allow us to make a few things at home without having to buy the grocery store. Seamless communication and when we realized we'd be arriving earlier than planned, they were quick to accommodate and early check-in. Highly recommend.

Michael’s place was the perfect home base for our Santa Barbara celebration! We were blown away! Super clean, cozy, and incredibly well-stocked — the kitchen had EVERYTHING (just bring decaf coffee if you need it). We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the porch, walking to State Street for shopping and great food, and winding down with games at night. The beds were amazing (they’re adjustable!), and the bathrooms felt like a luxury hotel. Thoughtful touches were everywhere — flowers, fruit, aprons, robes, lush towels, and even speakers throughout the house. We hosted a small celebration for our UCSB grads, and it couldn’t have been better. Off-street parking, lots of space to gather, and a peaceful setting just blocks from downtown. Michael was a fantastic host — responsive and so thoughtful. You can feel the care he puts into this home and his guests experience. If you're looking for a place that feels luxury & homey, this is it. Book it!

This was a great spot for a few nights in Santa Barbara and Jim is an absolutely fantastic host! Location is perfect. Easy, short walk to the beach and all SB has to offer. The space itself is comfortable and pretty straightforward. Has the basic amenities for a weekend trip. Jim helped us coordinate an early check-in, assisted with an extra night stay and allowed us to leave our bags for an extra hour after check-out - all of which were greatly appreciated!

The house and the location were perfect! When we come back to Ventura this is where we’ll stay again. Everything was clean and our kids were happy with the games provided outside. This house made our vacation!

Sandy and Joy’s place was fabulous! The home is comfy and centrally located to the downtown area and beaches. The rooftop deck was a great spot for our family to hangout and enjoy the sun and sunsets. Joy is very easy to work with and is very responsive to requests. We’ll stay here again on a future Santa Barbara trip.

We've been to some luxury AirBnb's and I actually liked Harvey's place better. It has the vibe of what AirBnb was all about years ago -- a simple charming local place, fit for the area, with all that's needed for a very comfortable stay. And the garden! The garden is beautiful. We had our breakfasts there and that really started the day right. Thanks for hosting us!

I loved my stay here! My friends and I had a perfect weekend get away! Very close to the downtown area and they gave awesome food recs. The view from the patio cannot be beat on a clear day. The furniture was awesome as well. My friends and I slept so well, it was maybe one of the best beds that I've slept on in a long time. Close driving distance to the beach, was a very seamless experience.

We had a perfect romantic weekend in Santa Barbara, and this place made it truly special. The space was beautifully decorated with great style—spacious, full of natural light, cozy, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed, from thoughtful amenities to a warm, inviting atmosphere. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to East Beach, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. Our host, Jane, was fantastic—responsive, kind, and full of helpful suggestions for local restaurants. She made everything easy from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference 45 minutes away, inland. I’m so glad we stayed where we did because of the views. Not difficult to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are not a far drive away. The place had everything we needed. Older adults, so pretty quiet. You can see and hear the ocean from the condo. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

Eileen’s place is an absolute dream. Beautiful condo that is bright, clean, and comfortable. Steps away from a gorgeous beach and picturesque town! Eileen was super communicative and provided clear instructions. I’d love to visit again!

Great host, great location, fun stay. Highly recommended. Jumped on the surfliner Amtrak and took our kids to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Hung out on the beach just down the road from the apartment. Awesome time!

Hosts are very friendly, respond rapidly. Place is super clean, and well organized. If I could give the hosts and this place 10 stars I would. Definitely recommend this beautiful peaceful place. Look forward to staying again in the future.

This place is the best location, walking distance to state street, funk zone, and the harbor. Very easy to find. I have already recommended to my family and I look forward to staying when I’m back in SB!

The condo was awesome! The beach was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this spot! I wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely be back!
