Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sankt Veit an der Glan

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

The house was beautifully appointed and included everything we needed. It felt luxurious but comfortable and we would all definitely come back and recommend to others. It was a great location with a short walk to the lake and into town. Thank you Jus for a wonderful stay!

We absolutely enjoyed the apartment with our two children (2 and 5). It is absolutely clean, child-friendly, and has really everything you could need. The connection to the Falkensteiner Cristallo was particularly great for us - we were able to use the pools and children's pools and the children's programme. Just perfect for families We definitely want to come back.

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

We had a great stay at the house - it was our first trip to Slovenia and staying in such a beautiful location made it even better. The hot tub was amazing but be warned it does take a good few hours to heat up and when we were there, there was only logs to get the fire going, we had to buy news paper and firestarters, so just bear in mind that a trip to Bovec may be necessary. Only other thing to mention was when we checked out we struggled to find the waste bin the host mentioned that was up the hill - the nearest other bin place didn’t do general waste (recycling etc only) so we had to drive a little bit with the black bag in the car. Otherwise though it was amazing and would definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing stay in this chalet. It was very clean and well equipped for a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The scenery is beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. The family are very friendly and we loved the sheep surrounding the property fence, they were so fun to watch. The house is wonderfully quiet and was exactly what we were hoping for – if not more! Especially the direct lake access with the SUPs was a real highlight. The house itself is spacious, very clean and cozy – you immediately feel at home. Norbert was a great host: helpful, friendly and always responded quickly. Clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back! 😊

The accommodation is perfect! There are all kinds of amenities, enough space and everything is clean. The sauna and jacuzzi are an absolute highlight and very easy to use. The accommodation is super cozy. I can recommend it to everyone.

Great apartment in a beautiful location. The area is really nice and quiet, perfect for families! The host was really friendly and kind, we got every info and if we had questions we got the answer quickly. The apartment is gorgeous, everything is just like on the photos! We enjoyed our stay a lot, and had a great time in the area! Super recommended :)

Great location, clean apartment. The shower cabin was a bit small and a microwave would be awesome, but besides these 10/10!

Beautiful, peaceful mountain cabin with lots of indoor and outdoor space. We enjoyed our quiet evenings on the balcony overlooking the small village with cats and children frolicking around. The kids loved the “crow’s nest” up the ladder on the top floor. Great location in between Bled and Bohinj. The drive up and down the mountain can be a bit scary, but worth it. Marjana was very helpful and responsive, and even helped us navigate an alternative route down the mountain when the main road was closed for construction. Her parents, were very friendly upon check-in, showing us around the beautiful home they built. I highly recommend this place to any family looking for a peaceful mountain retreat.

It's a really good place to stay near the Lake Bled in a quiet area with beautiful view around.

Nice little apartment, ideal for couples. Everything was perfect, but the shower is only for one person and there is no microwave. But the place is even great. (Entering is super easy)

We were very warmly welcomed by Natalija's husband, he explained everything to us and gave us tips for excursions and restaurants. We also met Natalia in the evening, she is also very warm. The apartment is perfect for 2 adults and 3 children, it is very spacious, including the bathroom. Everything you need is available, the apartment is very clean tidy. Natalja and her husband even put some snacks in the fridge and candy for the kids. The apartment is perfectly located if you want to go to Slovenia, for example, to Lake Bled or Jasna or are on the way to Croatia and Co (near Karavanke Tunnel or Wurzenpass). We were very, very happy in this apartment and will definitely stop by again on our next trip to Slovenia. Thanks very much, Hannah and family

Fantastic house in a beautiful place. We were sorry we couldn't stay there longer. Beautiful views and wonderful walks. Nice that you can also just walk to the village, supermarket, eat cake or eat at the hotel opposite. I had also booked a massage myself and that was wonderful. We will definitely come back to discover this interesting region further.

Kristina made the stay perfect, with a gem of a property easily accessible and within walking distance of the centre of Lake Bled. It really is the full package!

My son wanted a farm vacation for her 6th birthday. The Neubauerhof has exceeded all our expectations. Already upon arrival we were shown the animals (cows, calves, rabbit, ponies). A lot was told and explained about farm life. The possibility of pony riding was also given. The apartment had everything a self caterer needed. A farm shop (self-service) where the in-house milk as well as honey, pots, yogurt is also available. We were able to reach all excursion destinations in a short time. The area is beautiful and quiet. The host Gerti is very warm, open and helpful. We had a great, experienced time and would be happy to come back.

The apartment fully corresponds to the photos in the listing, it is located on the 3rd floor and grants a superb view of the lake from a side balcony, which can be reached in 2 minutes from the apartment. The arrival was hassle-free and the reception staff very accommodating. The pool and the sun loungers on the jetty can also be used. Overall a great stay, the contact with Eberhard was uncomplicated, he responds immediately to questions

Absolutely amazing mountain hut in stunning scenery. Teresa and Stefan have put in loads of work so that you can get back to basics, slow down and live it up in natural luxury! Thoroughly recommend Danke schon!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay here. Robert's communication before arrival was quick and he was there to show us around the apartment at check-in. The apartment itself was neat and very clean. My kids enjoyed the fact that the whole family could sleep together in one room. I enjoyed the fact that even though this is a smaller sized apartment, everyone had an actual bed! Robert was very kind and gave helpful tips. He even called a friend in the know when we asked about the closure over the mountain pass to give us the most accurate information. Great two night stay for our family here. Thanks, Robert!

We were a group of 9 people and were all totally thrilled with the place. We've never experienced such a well-equipped Airbnb. We actually lacked nothing. Check in also worked smoothly The place is highly recommended! :-)

Had a wonderful stay at Ulrike's, where we stayed for a few days for my husband's Iron Man nearby. We were very warmly received, Ulrike and her husband are extremely sweet people and you can ask them anything. The photos match very well with what you can expect. Everything you needed was there and everything was very clean on arrival. It was also a wonderfully fresh accommodation, which came in handy during the hot days. Nice terrace to sit and eat outside. Ulrike and her husband are really so lovely and friendly. Always a very warm and pleasant contact when you meet them. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to see nearby: near the Wörtersee, Maria Wörth (beautiful church on the lake), Pyramidenkogel (viewing tower with a view over the entire Wörtersee), near Klagenfurt, Velden, supermarket,... We enjoyed our stay enormously! Thank you! :)

Michael is a super responsive and helpful host, the accommodation fully reflected the description and the lake view was superb, I think we'll be back. Also for those who love skiing it is very close to the cable car and a 5-minute walk there is a skating rink and a nature reserve for those who love bird watching with beautiful specimens. The only suggestion I would like to give to Michael is about the bedroom doors that are made of transparent glass and are not the best for privacy, maybe a nice shutter could help.
