Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Sandusky

Great location, walking distance to the Jet Express and restaurants/bars. Comfortable beds and nice furnishings. The hosts were very responsive and provided all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

The stay is great and everything looks brand new. Backyard was very nice to have to a trip!

Amazing views, comfy beds, nice space! We saw blue herons every day! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t take advantage of the lake for anything other than looking at it from inside, but the location on the lake was amazing.

This spot was perfect for us to call home base for our nephew's wedding. The house had everything we needed, it was clean, and all of the communication was excellent.

We loved our stay! The home was super clean, comfortable, and fun! We wished we could have stayed longer. It was just my husband and I but would love to come back with our friends who have kids. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch when we returned at night. We hope to be back to the area again soon.

We enjoyed Jimmy’s place. It was clean and comfortable! We loved how close it was to Sheldon marsh. We walked there almost every morning! The coffee was nice! We decided not to grill out since the propane is not included. Not worth it for us to go and get - but could be if you planned to grill out a lot. Good yard for anyone with pets.

We are a family of five and we had an enjoyable two-night stay at Valia's house. The house is as pictured, with a clean kitchen and modern appliances. The dining room has a large window with lots of natural light and the table was the perfect size for our group. We enjoyed using the upstairs balcony on the first night, and the downstairs table and chairs for an open fire in the fire pit the second night. There was no firewood provided, but our teenage sons gathered armloads of driftwood at the nearby rocky beach which worked just fine! The sunset was spectacular over the lake, and the fire kept us warm on a cool evening. Valia was quickly responsive when we had a couple of questions, and resolved a beeping security panel (due to a brief local power outage) with a prompt visit by a maintenance person. We enjoyed watching the herons and other water birds, and a family of curious young groundhogs that live on the edge of the yard. One tip: no ice maker or trays, so we bought a bag.

Our first little blended family vacation and it was amazing because of our gracious host, James. The weather was not going to be what we hoped it was and I was already planning backup ideas for three kiddos with rain on its way, but James overextended ideas for us without being asked. It was amazing and so helpful. I appreciated every message sent to me. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We were in the area for the weekend to visit family/friends and Christine’s apartment was perfect for us! We were met upon arrival and given an overview of the unit and some tips for local restaurants. The apartment was completely stocked…even things I would have never thought of plus a few snacks. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot with great pressure! Overall positive experience! We agreed if we have the need again, which I suspect we will, we would definitely stay here again!!

This was a great place! Very clean and had everything we needed for cooking. Plenty of space for our family. Beds were comfortable. Great view of Cedar Point. Very safe and quiet.

We had a great stay, the place was super cozy and I felt at home, they also had a bunch of stuff available for us incase we forgot anything like chargers and toothbrushes. I would stay here again if we visit again.

We absolutely loved the property. It was so nice to have the option to use the grill/ fire pit/ back yard. My husband loved being able to just walk down a few steps to enjoy fishing—which he did every morning and evening. We were only about an hour from Marblehead where we went to see the lighthouse and then took a ferry to Kelley’s Island. On the island, we recommend seeing the Glacial Grooves and the North Shore Alvar. Then an hour in the other direction, we were able to enjoy the views from the observation tower at Lake Erie Bluffs. And very nearby was Lakeview Park, which had a beach area with swimming. The views from the back yard at sunset were stunning. We had everything we needed for a nice relaxing stay by the water. Thank you!

The apartment is beautiful and well-stocked with all the essentials. Cooking oil, s&p, and great cookware! I appreciated the ease of check out- no heavy cleaning involved! Walking distance to 2-3 beaches, lighthouse, a beautiful park, and some really cool restaurants with outdoor seating over the water. Loved it here! Hosts were very nice and quick to respond. Beds were comfy and the back yard is super cute! You can see the lake from the front door. The whole neighborhood looks like a postcard. Beautiful gardens in every yard!

Another great stay at Linda’s place! Truly the perfect location for spending the weekend at Oberlin college. We were in town for commencement and felt so fortunate to be able to return to Linda’s place for midday reprieves or for a nightcap with fellow parents. A delightful and comfortable stay for a wonderful weekend!

What a wonderful, gracious host- always immediately responsive and helpful! The place was clean, inviting, quiet, and had everything we needed! Because of exceptionally poor planning on my part, Jennifer thankfully allowed us to check in earlier than the stated time - which made it so less stressful for me! One word suffices for our stay here - Perfect!

This is a perfect rental. The condo was very clean and uncluttered. The bed was super comfy and there were plenty of clean towels for the bathroom and kitchen. The host goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. There were snacks and coffee plus bathroom toiletries and dish soap. I loved sitting on the covered balcony watching the boats go by in the marina. I was in the area for bird watching and this is a perfect location. Magee Marsh and Ottawa refuge are close by. Port Clinton is a 15 min drive away and has a nice Krogers and really good restaurants. I would stay here again and I would highly recommend Deborah's place.

Absolutely loved our stay, the hosts were very clear with the instructions and we were able to make the most out of our time here in Sandusky without any issues. 10/10 would definitely come again.

This was the absolute perfect location, price and amenities we could have hoped for! LOVED that the beach, pool & playground was a 3min walk (with little kids!) Beach was small but perfect. Pool was amazing because of the odd design it allowed areas for “kids” to play and splash but also a big enough area for older folks to do laps and relax. Loved that the pool also had shallow part for kids to walk into / sit. Thank you for the Ice-Cream store recommendation - The Ice Shanty. Was VERY close , affordable and AMAZING! A must for the family. Jessica - thank you for opening your amazing home , a little home away from home. Was more than we could have hoped and expected. Kids LOVED waking up seeing the sunrise. We would absolutely love to visit here again!!

We had a great stay at Chris and Dawn's condo. The space was clean, well equipped and just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. The view from the screened balcony was awesome. Highly recommended!

Great stay. Place is actually nicer than the pics! Stayed when in town for a soccer tournament at sports force park and it was perfectly convenient. Views of coasters from afar and boats in and out!

Fantastic place, I’m home now but I really miss it. Really beautiful outdoor area with pool and lake view. Getting in and out was easy. The house was super duper clean. Very cozy living room and bathroom. Deanna was very helpful every step of the way whenever I needed help

In Sandusky for sports tournaments or Cedar Point this is a great place to stay. Ultra clean, very comfortable, walking distance to restaurants, 5 minutes from Sports Force Park and just a very comfortable home away from home. We fished as well which was great away from the baseball field. When we are out the road for tournaments we like to eat (make) our own food to save money and eat healthy, kitchen worked out well. Again can’t stress enough the comfort factor and location!
