The completely remodeled kitchen includes fresh white cabinets stocked with all the cooking essentials, black granite counter tops, full size refrigerator/freezer and a 4 burner range, microwave oven, coffee maker, and electric kettle. The adorable living space, which is flooded with light and has views of the property's interior courtyards, includes a twin day bed, flat screen LED TV and a large closet. Off the living space you will find a beautifully remodeled bathroom with Carrera marble floors, and a large standing glass tile shower. The cottage is ideally located minutes away from Stanford Shopping Center, Caltrain Station, downtown Palo Alto, Town and Country Village, and California Ave Farmers market. Commuting is a breeze since it is conveniently situated between the Palo Alto Caltrain Station as well as the California Avenue Caltrain Station. There is also access to the free Margarite Shuttle which services both the Stanford Campus and the surrounding Palo Alto area.

Guest house is attached to our primary residence but has a separate exterior entrance. The interior is separated by double doors that lock from both sides, similar to adjoining hotel rooms. The backyard is shared by us, the owners. There’s a very real chance you’ll be greeted by our friendly Australian Shepherd, Gracie, during your stay! You may see us in the yard during your stay. Feel free to say hi! Otherwise, we like to give our guests privacy.

Woodsy Silicon Valley Cottage

Discover a laid-back side of Silicon Valley in a cozy, cedar-shake guesthouse surrounded by mature trees. Walking distance from a great network of destination hiking and biking trails. 15-30 minutes from Stanford, Sand Hill Road, and major tech companies. This 400 square foot space is on top of our garage and next to our home. There is no public transportation nearby and ride share services are available but not always reliable so you'll need a car.
