Most of the time when you think of glamping being off-grid comes with it. While you're not exactly off-grid here, as you do have electricity and wifi but you are off the beaten path enough to catch the sunset&sunrise from your dome.

Cute studio in Ajijic

Guanajuato is a charming studio in the heart of Ajijic. Note that due to low ceilings the suite is not suitable for tall people and that the bed is double-sized and may feel a bit small for two adults sharing. Only two blocks from the main square at the San Andres church, and two blocks from the lake Chapala boardwalk it is a brief walk to numerous restaurants, galleries, various kinds of shopping and more. As a guesthouse we have housekeeper with onsite presence Monday through Saturday.

Located a few steps from the central square of the magical village of Ajijic, the heart of cultural, gastronomic and recreational activity. This bright space has a bedroom area, bathroom, a small kitchen with a coffee maker, stove and refrigerator as well as basic kitchen utensils. It has a large garden within the common areas to enjoy a good coffee. Ideal space for a couple of people.

You’ll have use of our palapa and heated pool, and we have great restaurants nearby. Villa Nova is a lovely neighborhood west of the village. Our friendly dogs, Chaquita and Rosie, will want a hello, but you can close the gated garden area for privacy. You will have a refrigerator, hot plate, coffee pot, microwave, dishes, and grill. No children under 12, please, because of the pool. The suite is perfect for 1 to 4 people, not any more than 4.

CASA ALEBLOS

Spacious house with gardens and great lake views, ideal for those looking for a quiet space. Access has stairs as well as to go down to the garden, but it's worth it. We only rent to families and responsible adults. Not suitable for young people only as noise policies are very strict and carry high fines. If you're interested, there's a pickleball club open to the public inside the Raquet, paying a daily fee per person.
