Great Location. Comfortable beds. Friendly host.

My stay was good, the place is nice, I liked the layout. The bed and linens were wonderful, plenty of towels and the kitchen was stocked enough for my needs. There are some neat places nearby, including a food truck park and cafes and brewery/bars. That made for a busier neighborhood than I expected. I stayed in the front room and heard a lot of noise including revving engines late at night etc. I am a light sleeper though. Also, the living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable. Other than that, it’s a nice place to stay, easy walk to the beach. Hosts were fantastic.

Lisa’s home is a gem. The place is clean, modern, cozy and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a long weekend. Great location, the beach is right across the street and a walkable distance to Carslbad Village. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Home away from home with a beach. This has been one of the most peaceful coziest serene homes we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left this home was nothing but positivity for our family. The amenities provided by the hosts were more than adequate to provide a family many memories. The seclusion we had during our stay was better than perfect. The host was thorough in communicating house rules and making accommodations during our stay. Would recommend this bungalow for any family to enjoy. Will be back soon.

The place was exactly like the pictures. Garage was about 6inches too small but we were very aware of this before booking. Place was clean and was very close to the beach! The pilot light was off for the heat. We contacted Diana and she responded right away even on a Sunday. I would definitely book this property again

Our family had a wonderful vacation to start the summer off! This location is remarkable - walkable to the beach, restaurants, etc. The home itself is wonderful as well - everything you want is there! This was our first time in Carlsbad and will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time at Jen’s place. It was exactly as described and Jen was a super responsive and helpful host. She had lots of recommendations to share and addressed all questions promptly. The neighborhood was also perfect for our needs.

Felt right at home in this lovely bungalow. Love the neighborhood, great hanging space, beds super comfy and shower is great. Ease of entry and exit, "smart" elements and (narrow but useful) driveway made it super convenient too. In town for our sons UCSD graduation and not sure we will be back - but if we did we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My friends and I had a lovely stay at Heather's bungalow! The outdoor spaces were beautiful and peaceful, and the inside was just as nice, cozy, and clean. Heather was very responsive, gave lots of great local recommendations, and made the whole rental process easy and seamless. Highly recommend!

absolutely adored this place!! it's so cute and we'll decorated and is the perfect place if you're traveling alone or as a couple. it has a nice kitchen stocked for making coffee or tea, a beautiful screened porch, comfy bed, and the TV has a ton of apps and channels. there's also plenty of parking so that was never a concern. HIGHLY recommend this place if you need a home base in San Diego for a few days

Fantastic little getaway or place to stay for a few weeks of work. Super walkable, safe and pretty quiet overall. Some airport noise, but that’s it really. Lots of food, markets, the park, etc, all within blocks. Awesome spot and happy to 5 star it! We would come back anytime.

Perfect place for a 4 day stay. It felt private and enclosed with a cute garden area. The place was very close to various coffee shops, restaurants, and small target- walkable even with a 1 year old. Parking was easy to find on the street and the neighborhood felt very safe. Would stay again.

Perfect beach bungalow for a weekend getaway! The bungalow is exactly as described, super charming, and just a great space to relax. Lots of natural light and the perfect cross-breeze. Even our dog enjoyed his stay! :)

Eric was a warm host. This stay is a gem for those looking for classic Airbnb embedded with the community (versus hotel living), in an unrivaled location for beach access. Less than a block to one of the friendliest beaches in the US for beginner surfers. The Airbnb is fully stocked with longboards and wetsuits, which saves considerable equipment rental expense. Plus, there's no more convenient way to get your surfboard to the beach than to walk it there. For those who don't surf, you'll enjoy walking a few seconds to the water. Bird Rock is a short 6 minute drive to get great pastries and tea/coffee. The direct access to the beach is down a long set of stairs, but you could walk a couple blocks in the neighborhood to more gentle access if you need it. Street parking here is easy despite writing in June which is beach season. Looking forward to coming back one day.
