Cottage holiday rentals in San Cristóbal de La Laguna

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

The hacienda is the result of a beautifully executed renovation. Everything was very clean and Carmen & Natalia were very available hosts and made sure everything was perfect. We mostly enjoyed the jacuzzi, which was a nice break in the early Spring days - although we made a dip in the pool as well; even if just for the spectacular view! For everyone who loves the charm and the calm.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely amazing, and the house is beautiful and rustic. The terrace is very spacious, and there is a little garden that attracts lots of little birds. The whole house is dreamy and surrounded by cute flowers and native plants. We loved using the log burner in the evenings, as it sometimes got quite chilly; this made it even more cosy and homely. Having a car is essential to stay here (and also to explore the rest of the island). There's a Lidl and Aldi nearby and plenty of great restaurants and beaches. Thank you so much for having us!

Outstanding location with absolutely mesmerising views !! Away from the cluttered cities surrounded by vineyards I would highly recommend for those seeking a getaway in Tenerife. The places has not only views to offer , fully equipped with all sorts of amenities that one would ever wish for. Ellen is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would definitely be coming back for more !!!

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

It was great to avoid the dense touristic areas and experience a different type of microclimate than the rest of the island. It was a bit cold inside in April, but there is an AC and a heater to compensate. The jacuzzi is a big highlight of this place.

The property is lovely and everything you need for relaxing getaway. We loved the outside area, Al fresco at its finest. Supermarket is situated at the bottom of the road, 5-10 minute walk. Puerto del La Cruz is only a 15 minute drive and playa El Bollullo is on 15 minute drive, bit of a walk down to the beach, but well worth it. also the restaurant at the top is lovely, with a great back drop. If you want a relaxing getaway away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place for you. Wake up to beautiful views of Tiede and the sea. what more could you want. See you next time.

A nice house in a beautiful location, the garden, and the views of Tiede from it, are absolutely stunning. The house was clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maykel is responsive and answered any queries we had promptly. Highly recommended.

We had a great time here! The house is very close to nearby restaurants (2-4 minute walk), pools in the sea (20 minute walk) and has a nice view of the sea. The town itself is quiet and has everything you need, the nearby market offers all necessary things. We would definitely visit again!

wir haben uns sehr gefreut diese Oase gefunden und gebucht zu haben 🌞 wunderschöne Finca mit allem was dazu gehört incl toller Gastgeber. super Lage und grandioser Ausblick im Garten. da bucht man gerne wieder 👍

We wanted to disconnect from everything and that's exactly what we got here. It's such a little hidden gem, very private, the BBQ & pool areas are a touch with views looking down towards the Atlantic! Literally an 8 minute drive up through La Guancha and you are in the forest, I can recommend Casa de la Pradera easy terrain, our dogs loved it. A few hundred meters up the road and you come to Bodega Viñatigo very nice wines. The host Lara is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet – viele schöne Details! 😊 Maribel war super aufmerksam und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

The host Maria is great, always helpful, super friendly and sweet with our kids. We had a great stay in the house and enjoyed the view over the bay and the banana plantation. Maria also provided us with a whole load of freshly harvested bananas which tasted amazing. Totally recommended place.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal bei José und es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und idyllisch im Dorf gelegen. Morgens wird man vom Vogelgezwitscher im Mangobaum geweckt und nachts hört man das Meer unten in der Bucht rauschen. Man sollte bloß bedenken, dass man immer einiges an Treppen bis zur oberhalb gelegenen Straße zurücklegen muss, wo man parken kann bzw. der Bus fährt. José ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hoffen, dass es nicht unser letzter Urlaub hier war :)

Great space in the mountains with lots of local trails around the horse sanctuary. Easy communications and check in. Eloy, who looks after the animals was great and was able to help us with fresh wood for the fire. If you want peace and quiet in the countryside it’s a great location.

Le logement est fidèle aux photos et à la description. C'est un endroit paisible avec une vue magique sur la mer , la montagne et la bananeraie. Macu est réactive et attentionnée. Nous ne l'avons vu qu'une fois pendant notre séjour mais l'échange a été très agréable. Je recommande vivement ce logement qui permet de visiter Tenerife facilement loin du tourisme de masse.

Super séjour dans cette maisonnette ! Accueil top, cadeaux de bienvenu, peignoir et explication super clair. Vraiment génial! Localisation top pour se balader sur l’île (proche du Teide, des grands villes et autoroutes…). Le petit + ? Passer une semaine à s’occuper et câliner les chats de la finca tous aussi mignons que gourmands les uns que les autres. Pour les catlover en recherche d’un coin paisible/ de qualité pour passer vos vacances ? Ce logement est celui qu’il vous faut!

Vi havde en uge i Esthers fantastisk lejlighed, hvor der var alt, vi havde behov for. Vi nød meget roen og nordkystens skønne frodighed langt fra masseturismen på sydkysten. Lejligheden er lille, men det kompenseres fuldt ud af det skønne terrasseområde med udsigt over vandet - med havemøbler, grill, liggestole og skøn atmosfære med palmetræer og hængekøje. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Great flat with fantastic views in a calm and secluded area. Beautiful garden with a very calm and clean pool. Only downside is in my opinion, that the location is not super easy to reach, but that might just be the price for having such a nice and calm environment.

Un alojamiento espectacular, mejor de lo que pensaba, detalles como carbón para la barbacoa o una botella de vino me pareció muy significativo, la casita con todo lo necesario y más para estar como en casa, Belén siempre atenta y muy amable, sin duda volveremos

Sergej hat uns persönlich begrüßt und sich sehr um unsere Zufriedenheit bemüht. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war schnell und effektiv. Das Haus ist alt und voller kleiner Details und die Küche mit allem Ausgestattet was benötigt wird. Der Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein und die Aussicht ist atemberaubend.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei José Antonio! Das Haus ist schön, sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr gemütlich und es gibt einen traumhaften Ausblick vom Balkon mit rundum Blick auf das Meer, den Teide und Sonnenuntergang. José und seine Familie sind wunderbare, super aufmerksame und kinderliebe Gastgeber! Es gab Bananen, Avocados aus dem eigenen Garten und weitere kleine Aufmerksamkeiten bei der Anreise für uns und die Kinder. Alles stand bei Ankunft bereit (Wickeltisch, Spielsachen, Babybadewanne usw). Unser Sohn liebte es in dem riesigen Garten zwischen Avocado & Bananenbäumen zu spielen und jeden Tag die Hühner zu füttern. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und hoffen wir kommen bald wieder. Vielen Dank für alles :-)

Le logement est impeccable. Vue superbe de toute les pièces. BellesTerrasses. Francisco est très sympathique et communiquant même si cela était compliqué du fait que nous ne parlons pas du tout espagnol. Bref rien a redire. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir si nous revenons à Tenerife.
