Cabin holiday rentals in Salzkammergut

We had a very nice time in the cottage. The two children enjoyed the animals & the many play opportunities on the outdoor area. It was all very clean and well maintained and even more beautiful than in the pictures. Thanks to the sauna and hot tub, we were able to relax well and the view was fantastic on all sides!

We were there with a group and had a great time. The cottage has absolutely met our requirements. Everything you need is available. The view is outstanding And the whirlpool was our absolute highlight. We'd love to come back.

Johanna's log cabin is a nice house with everything you need for a short break on the Irrsee. The rooms are a bit small, but there is enough storage space to accommodate everything and to be able to move freely. Beware of bed lengths and tall guests (we overlooked this in the description, but it was still possible). The large kitchen is very well equipped. A pan on the induction stove didn't work and Johanna was there with a new pan in no time! 🙂 The living area and the large, well-equipped terrace invite you to relax. A mini minus for us was that we thought that the house was directly by the lake. However, there is a sports/football field directly in between. Was used only a little during our stay. The lake access is within walking distance and very pleasant and quiet with a small catering station. All in all, it was a very relaxing stay for us. We will be happy to come back. 😊

Really a very, very nice stay! The house is really something special, great, impeccable, tasteful, fully equipped to the last detail. The outdoor facilities are beautiful, spacious, with great views and everything is very neat. The hosts are very nice and likeable and have thought of everything, from the equipment, labelling, recommendations in writing. We were there as a family with three children (6, 10, 12) and felt completely comfortable. It is a very, very good recommendation in its entirety!

Had 2 great weeks. Many outings to do in the area (all within an hour's drive from the cottage) David's recommendation (walking to the mountain lake is definitely worth it!) and then it is wonderful to 'come home' to the cottage after an active day. The cottage is very quiet, the neighbors are friendly and there is plenty of space! Everything is available (kitchen utensils, television, games etc) Partly due to David's hospitality, we quickly felt at ease in the cottage. A plus was definitely the sauna. Definitely worth going here!

Ute and her family were so sweet and warm. Always available . Helpful with everything you needed including leisure tips. The cottage was fantastically beautiful. The location as well. All in all a dream. We'll be back.

It’s the perfect place for a really quiet weekend getaway. Very private location in the middle of the mountains and extremely kid friendly. The absolute best if you want to disconnect for a few days.

We were there with our 2 children and it was just gigantic. Huge, everything super clean and well equipped. Everything was super explained and easy. The sauna was great! The location, the view, the terrace and the fireplace - everything is fantastic! We will be back:)

We - a family with two children (8,3) - spent 3 wonderful days in Mittererb and Pauline's accommodation. Pauline is an incredibly warm, attentive hostess. The accommodation itself is very clean, the furniture was mostly built by Pauline's son, who is a carpenter. The highlight for our children was the bunk bed and the wonderful and lovingly maintained garden. For the children, there were wild strawberries for the children to snack on, and in the raised bed, there were various salads, kohlrabi and radishes for them to take freely. Pauline surprised us on arrival with a filled refrigerator and fresh bread from the local bakery. In the kitchen, there is everything you need and more, and vinegar, oil and spices are also provided. Two different coffee machines including coffee are also available. Pauline herself is not only familiar with the area, but also a city guide in Salzburg and has many tips ready. It was perfect!

Very nice, quiet cabin. Easy and nice communication. Everything is great, I'd love to come again!

Apart from the gorgeous and spotless living space, the hosts were extremely welcoming and outgoing. We were shown around the farm and invited to visit and pet their adorable animals. If you love hiking and a peaceful environment I’d definitely recommend booking this place as just a bit far off from the farm there is a great hiking trail offering views of Zell Am See right below. Supermarkets are within walking distance, as well as Zell Am See itself

It was such a nice place, also exactly as described. The location was also perfect for hiking somewhere else every day and exploring the area. Our hosts were also super nice and it was all very straightforward. We will be happy to come back.🌞

There was a bit of a problem with the communication, the host was not very talkative, and there were disposable slippers that were not thrown in the house.But the house is still atmospheric and can also order food delivery.

We stayed with Matthias for the 6th time and enjoyed it this year - despite bad weather - as always. If you love the peace and seclusion but also the simple, original life, this is the place to be. Matthias is a far above average host and person and it is always pleasant to see and talk to him. We will be back!

Gitti has been the perfect host for the perfect house. We had an amazing stay with the family and really enjoyed spending time in such a tranquil place. We are most definitely coming back!
