Peaceful weekend getaway! The cottage is privately located just minutes from downtown Tryon and was easy to get to Saluda’s hiking trails as well. We enjoyed sitting by the river and the beautiful property in its entirety, animals & all. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in Tryon!

Great place for my husband’s 50th birthday. Comfy beds, kitchen had everything needed for cooking. Tiffany was super easy to talk to and response quick! Would def stay here again. The room with the day bed in it was a fantastic reading nook. Thanks again Tiffany!

What a cool property! The house was cozy and clean, but that's only the beginning. My kids played in the giant field, explored the woods, cold-plunged in the creek, relaxed in the hot tub, made s'mores in the fire pit, and played lots of ping pong! This isn't just a house; it's more like a camp! It was more charming and memorable than we ever expected. We had everything we needed and wished we could have stayed longer! The driveway and parking area were adequate and navigable, even with my 15-passenger van. The surrounding area is beautiful! During our 3-day stay, we hiked 6 waterfalls and did Sliding Rock, all within a 30-minute drive. So glad we didn't miss the experience of staying at this unique and lovely property. We'll be back!

We had a lovely weekend staying at the treehouse while visiting family nearby. The cabin was quiet and cozy!

This was the perfect location for our celebration of my mountain biking husband’s 50’th birthday. While the guys were biking the rest of our crew hiked the private trails at Conastee Falls within the neighborhood and paddle boarded and kayaked on Ticoa Lake. The house is located right on the lake, and adjacent to the boat launch and dock with a ladder, which was very convenient. The home has its own dock with kayaks and paddle boards to use. We did not use the Pedal pontoon. (It is noted in the description but for water access you need to be able to walk a good may steps down to the water from the house or drive down to the Ticoa Lake access one space over if it is too steep fo you to descend and ascend the stairs. We brought our dog with us and Jenni’s home accommodated her so well, with a large crate and dog toys and feeding bowls. The lower deck has the ability to fence in a space for pets while you relax in the hot tub or sit on the deck. The home had everything we needed.

Sylvie’s home was beautiful, filled with details that made it both functional and homey (eg, a full spice rack, and even lotion). We loved our stay and they even let us extend it for a reasonable fee. The location is amazing — tucked away with privacy, but very easy to get to all the beautiful attractions in the area. This is a beautiful waterfront home. Inside, it was clean and comfortable, with all amenities included as advertised. Great home for families, as the kid's corner is fun, and there's lots of fun to be had on the property for kids. The hot tub worked great and was clean. The large windows provide wonderful views of the water, and the deck is a great size to enjoy the view from outside. The location is generally about ~15 minutes away from stores. Highly recommended for a getaway!

Very nice place for a family. Be aware there is a half height wall in the loft overlooking the living area. It was fine for our five-year-old, but we had to be quiet when she went to bed. However, she loved having her own room!

Everything was lovely. One small piece of advice. Both my and my son’s GPS took us right to the location but the road to the house was barricaded and has been for many years. If your GPS takes you to a barricade just put in Janette St instead and it will take you to all the detour signs on the other side.

Loved this stay! They were very accommodating in letting me move my reservation after some family things arose. The parking is as described so pay special note to that. I really appreciated all the small details along with a well stocked kitchen (spices, staples, even s’mores!) and the bathroom essentials. Would recommend and would stay again!

If you're looking to stay close to Greenville but still want some space and peace, this place is a fantastic choice. Hosts Deb and Tony are incredibly kind—more like welcoming neighbors than strangers—and their property has a great mix of pine trees and vineyards that creates a calm, inviting atmosphere. Even with the winery open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays (from 12–6pm), it still felt very private, especially since we were usually out exploring during those hours. We chose this spot because we were bringing our 1-year-old puppy, and he absolutely loved it—he’d give it 6 out of 5 stars if he could! There was plenty of room to roam (as long as your dog has a solid recall), and Deb and Tony were so sweet and patient with his bursts of puppy energy. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful spot, especially if you’re traveling with a dog!

What a beautiful place to stay while we were visiting Congaree National Park. It is the most magical little cottage, everything was clean, and we had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal. It’s so cool to see the sketch of the place and how you brought it to life. Plus, the complimentary port wine was a delicious addition!! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

Felt right at home. Our second time here. Perfect setting for a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Plenty of towels and very clean. Our go to when we’re looking for a cozy cabin in this area.

It’s a cozy, tiny place to stay. Similar to a tiny home. It was very peaceful and quiet for me and my little one. It’s close to good local places to eat too! Will definitely be my first look at places to stay when I come back to visit again.

Nannies Cottage was a beautiful home and the farm animals made it the best. Our hostess was very attentive and responsive. I liked how it was in a private place and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the quietness. If you stay, you must try their cookies they were delicious! I’ll definitely book here next time we’re in the area.

Great 10 year Anniversary destination. We explored the State parks along route 11, visited different waterfalls and kayaked on Lake Jocasstee. The house itself was peaceful and had everything we needed. The sounds of nature and the flowing creek were the perfect way to get to sleep, and wake up to. The nearby twin falls were spectacular and an easy 10-15 minute walk. Like most have said, the only downside was having to leave.

This was the ULTIMATE water sport place to be. I have 3 boys that tore it up like crazy. It felt like every water sport thing you could ever want was there. And the location was phenomenal. My only slight critique is clutter, but I am a minimalist. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage on Lake Murray. Host Sheri was gracious, kind, and very attentive—she made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. The cottage itself is quaint and extremely clean, with a well-stocked kitchen that made meal prep easy and enjoyable. We loved the peaceful, secluded location—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor space was a highlight, with a hammock and chairs to unwind in and a lovely screened-in porch that was ideal for quiet evenings. The dock was perfect for fishing and enjoying the lake views. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and recharge in a serene lakeside setting.

Great spot for a family getaway! The home is perfectly located for enjoying the nearby state park and exploring the surrounding area. There's plenty of space both indoors and out to relax, with two large and very comfortable rooms-each with its own bathroom-which made things super convenient. The basement has been nicely updated and includes two single beds, though with narrow stairs and low lighting, It's probably better suited for kids or teens rather than adults. While the keyless entry didn't work as expected, the host had a solid backup plan in place, and everything else ran smoothly. The house was clean and well-kept, though we did notice a strong smell of garbage when we first arrived and ended up grabbing some air fresheners. Overall, a great experience in a beautiful location-would definitely come back!

David's place was the best spot I could have found for a relaxing holiday getaway. Private, on a stocked pond with kayaks, cozy and comfortable all around. The property is well kept as is the cabin, within an easy distance of local restaurants, and an absolute gem for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy themselves. Wonderful hosts who communicate well and give recommendations for maximizing your stay. I will 100% be back as often as I am able.
