Monthly Rentals in Saliyawewa

Stayed between 15-18th of April 2025. This is the second time I visited this property. Absolutely a gem of place to relax and unwind. The location is full of nature only the sound of the birds can be heard. The views are stunning with a beautiful lake in front and a large paddy field. An unspoilt village to show children how the rural village life goes about. There are plenty of bicycle for the guests to use FoC and Can take a bicycle ride across the village and on the bundt of the lakes in and around and enjoy the picturesque views of the lakes and the Galkiriyagama rock that spans for 7kms. During the night only the sound of nature you can hear. In the evening a dip in the lake with the villages is not to be missed. The property is very clearly kept. The food is absolutely tasty and made in a kitchen cleanly kept. Ideal place to enjoy traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry and other Sri Lankan food. A place definitely you want to revisit over and over again. Great value for money.

What a lovely stay with lovely people. It was really nice to spend time with the family, eat some very delicious food and explore the surrounding village. The place is also really close to the city if you crave some hussle and bussle! We really relished the opportunity to support with Gunarathna’s free English class that he provides for local children, and his tour of the ancient city was great. PLUS the cutest puppy ever lives with the family! This is amazing value for money, we’d recommend ☺️

Great place to stay. Gamini’s caretaker was helpful and house looks great. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting anuradhapura and vilpattu national park.

certainly one of the best of my life. in addition to having a breathtaking smoke, Aaryya gave me the best tips possible for my trip. the breakfast was exquisite and generous. humanly Aaryya is extra ordinary and caring, generous and accommodating. She agreed to have me check in hours before check-in. She took a lot of time for me. she even gave me all the help to make the change at the right rate. His house has a beautiful soul and I will never forget it so much on comfort and human warmth. thank you a thousand times
