Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Salins-Fontaine

We just loved the design of the house, modern, clean and generous. The views from the house are spectacular. In every direction from the house are trails to take in the Alps. Some within walking distance, some a short drive away. We walked every trail we could find. In the spring, the meadows are carpets of flowers and the mountain views, lakes, very impressive. Some shops pre-season were closed, so you need to be careful with supplies, but loved the weekly market and eating goat from the local farmer!

If I could give 10 stars I would! The Lemon Pit was amazing. The design is so cool and efficient. The hot tub was a huge hit, he even provided crocs to wear to the hot tub. Will was very responsive and provided a guidebook for the home and area right upon booking so I had time to review before arrival. He was flexible with check in and check out. The area was quiet and the view was spectacular. The walk into town is steep, but definitely manageable. We rented bikes and took advantage of the great bike lanes. A lot of fun. I have stayed in dozens of airbnbs and this one ranks at the top. Really great house.

Great stay at this beautiful village chalet.

We really enjoyed staying in this house. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. All our needs were thought out and fully met. The kitchen had everything for cooking and the seating area was quite comfortable. The location was also quite good; we had a pleasant time in a quiet and peaceful environment. The host was also extremely kind and communicative, quick to help with everything. The only thing missing was a hair dryer in the house.

Accommodation on the ground floor of a house, very well equipped, in a soothing setting. The hosts are very friendly and available. We will come back without hesitation if the opportunity arises.

We had a great time with the family (13 people), in this beautiful cottage, pleasant to live in even many. The bedding is comfortable. Only small problem is the frequency of shuttles especially during return times, with expectations that can reach an hour.

We really enjoyed staying at Delphines house. We stayed a family of five: our two oldest kids in the lower floor of the house, and the youngest with us parents in the upper floor. Both lower and upper floor has a toilet, which works well. The lower floor is nicely cool in the summer warmth. From the porch there's a breathtaking view of the mountains. There's a nice mix of sun and shade, and it's a great place to spend the afternoon after having been out and about. The house itself is quite special too: it's decorated very tastefully and consistently. The curtains, faucets, carpets, pottery, lighting, bedding and other decor all come together very nicely. We felt right at home, and it gave a nice sense of calm. Delphine was very proactive and responsive in her communication.

We could not have asked for a more amazing three weeks. The chalet is in an exceptional location on the hillside above Arc 1600. The views on all sides are breathtaking - sunsets and sunrises, Mont Blanc, the Tarentaise Valley. The morning birdsong is deafening. You're pretty undisturbed up there - the occasional skier passing or parapenter taking off or snow-shoer wandering by. The chalet itself is beautiful, well-furnished and well-equipped and the huge terrace has sun all day on sunny days. Laurent is an excellent host. It is accessible either by skidoo (on arrival with luggage); a chairlift then T-bar on skis (quite easy with groceries from a visit to the shop in 1600) or, if the drag isn't running, it's an easy 250m walk up from the chairlift. (The walk down to the village takes around fifteen minutes but longer in deep snow, the walk up from the village could be done by brisk walkers in twenty five minutes but it is uphill all the way).

Perfect apartment for a family of 5. We had plenty of space. Decor was lovely, apt impeccably clean and fresh. We skied every day and found the ski lockers convenient. Easy walk through the charming village to reach lifts, even with kids. Cheese shop, butcher, crepe stand and Le Bistrot du Praz in the village were fantastic. The apartment was our favourite Airbnb thus far.

We had a wonderful week at the Kervin cottage, very nice, quiet and peaceful place, the cottage is spacious and very clean, nothing to say. I highly recommend it

Anne’s place was perfect for our family of 5. Her decor was warm and welcoming and the location is easily walkable to town, restaurants, shops and train stations with stunning views of Mont Blanc. We were there in the spring but if you visit in the winter there is a ski lift out the back door! Highly recommend Anne’s place!!

Beautiful. The panoramic view is a big part of it. the interior is cosy and warm. The peacefulness of the place is worth it, but it is undeniably worth it. I would be happy to come back.

This was one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. The apartment was beautifully designed, perfectly suited for four people, and had absolutely everything we could possibly need — from a fully equipped kitchen with every appliance and utensil, to underfloor heating, a great shower, and reliable internet. It’s also one of the rare places in Bozel that has private parking, which was a huge plus. Just a few minutes’ walk from the center, it was the ideal base for our trip. Maxime and Esther were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout — truly a standout host. This was easily one of our top Airbnb experiences anywhere, and we’d come back in a heartbeat.

The place is as shown in the photos, placed really well, 10min away are restaurants and markets to buy supplies from, a ski rental place, and only 30min by car to Courchevel lifts. The place is nice and cozy and Marine was very kind and helpful with guidance throughout our stay. We only felt that the bathroom was a bit cold, even with the radiator on, you could feel a bit cold when we got out of the shower.

Stunning property - the view was the best we've had at any property across the world, and I'm not sure how we'll ever top it!

Benjamin's place was all we were looking for during kids' winter break: spacious enough for 2 families, great location and comfortable with all needed amenities. Location could not have been better: only 5 min drive to ski lifts & Megeve center, only 20 min walking distance to Megeve center with near-by shops for daily groceries. Benjamin was also very responsive and proactive, enabling us to have a very smooth check-in. We would definitely recommend and would like to come back again!

Three wonderful days in the very pretty house of Aude, impeccable house, very well equipped in everything, perfect bathroom, nice and practical kitchen, the bedding is super comfortable, the rooms are lovely, dream location with views of the lake and the Alps, very nice garden, we don't know what to add as everything was positive, we had a hard time leaving! Aude was more than charming and attentive, flexible, quick to respond, we absolutely recommend! And we hope to come back!

A very pleasant stay in this accommodation. We loved the terrace under the wisteria, the large very bright main room and its library of comics that we were unable to exhaust despite an intensive rhythm but also the comings and goings of the black cat, very endearing or the stove provided. Agnes was, moreover, a very responsive and helpful host. I would recommend it without a second thought!

Very friendly, available and responsive host. The view from the house is amazing. It's very nice and comfortable. The small nearby hamlet is charming and peaceful. It's right next to La Grave and Chazelet and not far by car from Les Deux Alpes and Serre Chevalier. We really loved our stay and would love to come back!

Spacious accommodation, impeccable in cleanliness, very well equipped. Terrace with splendid view and possibility of barbecues. Stephanie is welcoming, she was responsive when we needed info. She advised us on good plans for visits and restaurants. The accommodation is not far from the Mont Brison innocent beach by car and about 30 minutes' walk. We will be happy to come back, we highly recommend it!
