Super pleasant stay, change of scenery and rest at the rendezvous. The house is very nice and functional as well as the outside, large, wooded and the presence of the donkeys reinforces the zenitude of the place. We fully enjoyed this rental. Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for relaxing and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

A very traditional French house. It had everything we needed for a 6 night stay during a 17 night road trip. Very rural but that wasn’t an issue.

Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

What to say except thank you! Thank you to Petra and her husband for their hospitality, kindness, and the care with which they respond to the needs of their visitors. We came with my daughter to this region that we know very well. This is the first time in 15 years of Airbnb rentals that we have found such a functional accommodation. To go into detail, there is even a jewellery holder in the bathroom, clothes racks. Petra and her husband's love of nature is also a delight, the garden is superb. There's even a compost bin... We will return to this accommodation with great pleasure because everything is designed for the well-being of travellers and to make the stay the best possible. A place for the car, the host who opens the gate for you when you leave... We loved it! Thank you very much 🌱☀️

A house with a lot of taste and charm, spacious and very functional. Close to all amenities: city centre 3 min away with great shops and restaurants. This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

The house is absolutely in line with the listing. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoker). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

Very nice well-appointed studio with in particular the bathroom and toilet space arranged in a way that has privacy (quite rare in the accommodation👍) the outdoor spaces are simply beautiful and I would say that I place the welcome among the best I have received... human, helpful, discreet and responsive at the same time... well done to you both 🌞

We had a great stay with the family, in an ideal setting and a house with a pool that perfectly matched our expectations.

We rented the house for a group of 10 people and everything went perfectly smoothly. The place was exactly as described: very clean, well arranged and perfectly functional for a group stay. The host was extremely responsive, available throughout the stay, and very accommodating, including accepting a late checkout. We had a great time — I recommend

We had a great family stay at Anthony's house. It is very well equipped and the layout of the different rooms (sleeping area, dining area, etc.) allows you to share time together but also to have your own space! The centre of the village is accessible on foot (there are all the essential shops) and we rented bikes, which allowed us to visit the rest of the island on foot and go to the beach a few minutes by bike from the house. Finally, thank you to Justine from the concierge, who gave us a warm welcome on arrival and was available despite our very early departure, not to mention her valuable advice on the best places on the island!

Fabulous, well equipped, spotlessly clean house. Ideal for extended family with plenty of space. Loved the area we had a fantastic holiday.

Clean, tidy "cabin spirit" accommodation. Bright, spacious, exotic accommodation. Many activities around to do such as visit the citadel and the city of Château d'Oleron, the beach and many paths in the woods.

The location of Benjamin’s place is ideal - safely contained in a very pretty complex of apartments with parking and easy access to the beach. Once inside, you would never know you are close to other apartments because it is quiet, well lit, and beautiful. The back garden at sunset is incredible. There were only two of us and our dog, but the apartment is stocked to be able to easily host a small family. It’s clean and organized with a spacious kitchen and a comfortable bed. We were met at the gate when we arrived, the key hand-off was friendly and quick. Check-out instructions were clear and we didn’t feel rushed at all. All in all, a great stay. We hope to return someday soon!
