Family-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume

Véronique is an exceptional host, we were treated to a small snack on arrival followed by a homemade aperitif. We had dinner and brunch the next morning, which we highly recommend, everything was very good and homemade. We enjoyed the pool and the idyllic setting for our first holiday with our 5-month-old baby. Thank you so much for hosting us and your kindness.

Great location, clean, as described and easy to access. The beach is a 5-minute walk, restaurants are also within walking distance. The accommodation is great, the terrace and its jacuzzi very appreciable. The little touches for breakfast and the bottle of wine are the icing on the cake.

Eric and Danielle welcomed us very warmly, even late in the evening. The house was very clean and well prepared. We stayed there with a baby, and the garden, a little shady and secure, was perfect for our little girl. The spa is also a good complement for relaxing. A pleasant stay, in good conditions.

We had a great time at this place! The setting is simply magnificent, ideal for relaxing and recharging. The jacuzzi is a real plus, and perfectly maintained. Breakfasts on the terrace in the sun are very pleasant, a real treat to start the day. And what a pleasure to have been able to observe the horses right next to the rental, it adds even more charm to the place. A soothing and exotic experience. I highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at Billie's. The setting allows for total disconnection, in the middle of nature, and offers rest and relaxation with both a breakfast served every morning and the comfort of the jacuzzi. Thank you again for this refreshing and caring experience.

Very good stay. Véronique and Alban were welcoming and available. The accommodation is spacious and clean. It's quiet. The only regret is that the spa is not at the top of its operation (waiting for repair), even if we were able to enjoy it anyway!

We loved staying at Sabine’s place, it was so beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and lots of thought had been put into the decor and making it comfortable and welcoming for guests. It was in a nice residential area just a short 15 min drive to Cassis. We enjoyed the outside space and spa pool. We were four adults , our only comment was the second room was quite small but it was comfortable and welcoming and we all slept well.

Our stay with Marie and François in Ménerbes was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for and warmly welcomed. The property itself is beautifully rustic, with an understated charm that reflects its authenticity. The apartment, housed within the stone walls of a 12th-century structure, offered a unique experience, particularly for those with an appreciation for history. We were especially delighted by the presence of the resident cats in the garden, which added a warm and homely touch to the idyllic atmosphere. Dinner was of outstanding quality, and the breakfast, though light, was well suited to the setting and our expectations. We would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking peace, character, and a genuine connection with the Provençal way of life.

We spent 1 night in the beautiful accommodation of Cécile and Didier. It was sparkling clean and very tastefully furnished. It was wonderfully cool inside when the temperature outside was >30'C.

It is perfect place to stay in Marseille, beautiful surroundings with beach nearby. Everything was clean. I would highlight the seating on balcony - very pleasant. There is bus station (10 minutes from apartment) from which you can go to the city centre.

What a charming and authentic Provençal stay! Gerard was very welcoming and even provided us with farm fresh eggs, oranges to make fresh pressed juice in the mornings. The vineyards and olive trees were a beautiful site to wake up to each morning. We enjoyed walking into the village for dinner. We strongly recommend this amazing place.

We had a wonderful 11 days at this house. It looks exactly like the pictures, has everything you need, especially if you travel with kids. The trampoline and the children’s books and some toys in the house were a big plus. Communication was incredibly smooth, Gary and the team would reply right away to our messages. They were very flexible in terms of check in and even let us check out at 4pm since we had a late flight. It rained the whole time we were there and we still found it conveniently located just 20 min from Aix-en-Provence which made our stay super enjoyable. Eguilles is very small but charming. Would strongly recommend staying here, it was a wonderful experience!

Where to even start! Cyril is an AMAZING host and such an extremely kind and joyous person to talk to! We had great communication with check in/out, as well as he gave us recommendations as to what to do nearby when our original plans fell through! The kitchen was fully stocked with fresh juice, jams, and butter, as well as breakfast delivered to us each morning! This has been my favorite airbnb stay of all time, and really made for such a local feel to our trip. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in AIX; my fiancé and I had such a great time and can’t recommend Cyril’s place enough!

This was exactly the kind of holiday stay we were looking for. The heated pool made it possible to comfotably swim in April. The pool is beautiful, as is the garden; it’s really lovely to sit in. It also has a ping-pong table and a jeux-de-boulle court. The house is small, a but like a spacious motorhome - but, it is very well equiped and tastefully decorated. We especially appreciated the espressomachine and the filtered water tab. We can highly recommend it. Peaceful environment, close to highway, very nice hosts.

Great get-away villa in middle of beautiful Provence, France. 3 double- rooms with no clutter, each with a bathroom and separate toilet, clean and a large swimming pool, comfortably cool inside the house in hot summer weather, spacious kitchen and cozy outdoor living space. The location is countryside, with closest small typical Provence town 3 km away. We so much enjoyed the calm peaceful life under large front yard trees that provide you with shade from hot sun. The owners are the best - assisting when needed recommendations, invisible when we had rest with our kids in the front yard. All popular towns accessible by 10-30 min drive. Thank you Jos and Remy for your hospitality and your amazing home. We felt right at home from the first day of our week between our 4 families of friends (16 people aged 3-12). The terrace area is amazing, as well as the garden and gym with the pool! There's so much to do that we didn't even have time to play pétanque!! The indoor pool is huge and the big asset of the house for children and big kids. The sunsets were sumptuous. The gigantic plancha allowed us to cook outside every day! Thanks again

This house was beautiful. Our family group (4 kids and 4 adults) had a great time in the house. There was plenty of room, lots of places to sit and have privacy but also several choices to all sit as a family for meals or talking. The neighborhood was very quiet and easy to get to. The rooms were very nice and the pool was wonderful. The kitchen was also very nice for preparing meals with everyone we needed. We would 100% stay here again and recommend Elisa and Gerard as hosts.

We loved Fabienne's villa- it's a lovely place with all of the amenities you need, an excellent location to explore the South of France and Fabienne was always on hand if we needed anything. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Extremely well located apartment for visiting the region, close to transport (especially by boat) and basic shops (Auchan/Super U, pharmacy, etc.). Very well decorated and organised, although a little small. Ideal for couples or singles. Very easy access to the beach as well as a swimming pool in the complex, which is very good. Cons: If you want to cook, there is little space to store food in the kitchen. Also, a little disappointed to have paid a supplement for the linen, but to have had only the bare minimum (a single dishcloth for several days, no hand towels, etc.) All in all a great stay, we highly recommend it!
